เตรียมก้าวสู่โลกที่คุณไม่เคยเห็น! เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี ภูมิใจเสนอ "เมืองลับแล" นิทรรศการเดี่ยวของศิลปินหญิง มาเรียม-ธิดารัตน์ จันทเชื้อ

ครั้งนี้ ฝีเข็มและเส้นด้ายของมาเรียมไม่เพียงมีไว้เพื่อปักผ้า ภาพที่สะท้อนในงานปักชุดนี้มาจากสถานที่รอบตัวของเธอ ให้ความรู้สึกถึงหมอกควัน สื่อถึงมลภาวะทางอากาศซึ่งคุกคามประเทศไทย และกรุงเทพฯ ก็เป็นหนึ่งในจังหวัดที่ได้รับผลกระทบมากที่สุด มันจะพาคุณไปสัมผัสประสบการณ์เหนือความเคยชิน เมื่อภาษาศิลป์ของมาเรียมเปลี่ยนไป เมื่อเส้นด้ายผสานกับวัสดุแปลกใหม่ จึงสร้างบทสนทนาแห่งวัฒนธรรมและสังคมอันทรงพลัง

"เมืองลับแล" คือจุดเริ่มต้นบทใหม่บนเส้นทางศิลปะของมาเรียม กับการใช้วัสดุอย่างขยะและวัสดุอัปไซเคิล เธอได้สำรวจการใช้สิ่งที่พบเจอทั่วไปอย่างกระป๋อง มุ้งลวด และเหล็กดัด และรังสรรค์เป็นงานปักบนผ้ามัดย้อม งานปักบนจิตรกรรม จิตรกรรมบนวัสดุมุงหลังคา สื่อผสม ขนาดกลางและใหญ่กว่า 19 ชิ้น บอกเล่าความจริงผ่านฝีเข็ม ฝีแปรง อันละเมียด ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวชีวิตของเธอ ตั้งแต่การต่อสู้กับปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม จนถึงเสียงสะท้อนทางวัฒนธรรม เข็มและพู่กันจึงกลายเป็นอาวุธของเธอในการทอถักร่างวาดเรื่องราวละเอียดอ่อนทว่าสั่นสะเทือน เป็นเสียงกระซิบอันทรงพลังที่สะท้อนความบกพร่องของสังคม ซึ่งชวนเราให้ใคร่ครวญถึงปัญหาที่ซ่อนอยู่ใต้พรมของเมืองแห่งนี้

"เมืองลับแล" คือบทพิสูจน์พลังของศิลปะ สะพานเชื่อมต่อระหว่างโลก ต้นกำเนิดบทสนทนา เร้าความเห็นอกเห็นใจ และเชิดชูความงามที่ซ่อนเร้น เบ่งบานท่ามกลางความโกลาหลของชีวิตเมือง

This time, Mariem's needle and thread are not just for embroidery. The images reflected in this series of embroidery come from the places around her. They give a sense of smog, which represents the air pollution that threatens Thailand, and Bangkok is one of the provinces most affected. It will take you on an experience beyond your imagination. When Mariem's artistic language changes, when thread blends with new materials, it creates a powerful cultural and social dialogue.

"Invisible Town" is the beginning of a new chapter in Mariem's artistic journey. Using materials such as waste and upcycled materials, she has explored the use of everyday objects such as cans, mosquito wire screen, and wrought iron. She has created embroidered works on tie-dyed fabric, embroidered paintings, paintings on roofing materials, and mixed media works of medium and large sizes.

She tells the truth through delicate needlework and brushstrokes, conveying her life stories, from her fight against environmental problems to her cultural reflections. Her needle and brush have become her weapons for weaving and drawing delicate yet shaking stories. They are a powerful whisper that reflects the flaws of society, inviting us to ponder the problems hidden under the rug of this city.
