“wrap” นิทรรศการกลุ่มโดยศิลปินนักวาดภาพประกอบ (illustrator) ทั้งหกท่าน เพื่อสื่อสารถึงความเคลื่อนไหวของงานภาพประกอบในปัจจุบัน ที่ได้รับการยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวางในฐานะศิลปะแขนงหนึ่ง นักวาดภาพประกอบมากมายได้คิดค้นวิธีและตัวละครที่น่าดึงดูดมาใช้สื่อสารความคิด ผลงานเหล่านี้จึงไม่ใช่เพียงถูกใช้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ แต่ยังเป็นผลงานศิลปะที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะในการสะท้อนความคิด ความรู้สึกร่วมสมัยด้วยภาษาอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ผ่านตัวละครในหลากหลายคาแรคเตอร์

“wrap” จึงเป็นนิทรรศการที่ต้องการสำรวจกายวิภาคพื้นฐานของพื้นที่และสรรพสิ่ง ประกอบด้วยมวลรูปทรง และพื้นผิวที่เราล้วนมองเห็นและจับต้องได้ ผ่านตัวละครรูปแบบต่างๆ ไม่ว่าภาษาภาพเหล่านี้จะปรากฏอยู่ที่ไหน บนวัตถุที่มองเห็น หรือจะอยู่บนระนาบใด ความสัมพันธ์ของเรื่องเล่าบนโลกนี้จะได้รับการตีความจากศิลปิน เพียงแต่เมื่อถึงเวลาที่เหมาะสม ตัวละครจะออกมาโลดแล่น และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในชีวิตของเรา

“wrap” is a group exhibition by six illustrators who wish to portray the development of an illustration, one of the art forms which has currently been widely accepted. Many illustrators have invented methods and attractive characters to express their perspectives. Through the use of unique languages and a wide variety of characters, illustrations are not only used for a commercial purpose but also for reflecting ideas and contemporariness.

Therefore, “wrap” is an exhibition that is keen to explore the fundamental anatomy of spaces and objects, consisting of visible and tangible shapes and textures as well as different types of characters. No matter where these visual languages appear—on visible objects or planes—all the relationships in this world will be interpreted by the artists. At the right time, the characters will be alive and become a part of our lives.
