แนวความคิด
“อนันตกาล”

“อนันตกาล” คือผลงานสร้างสรรค์ที่แสดงออกถึงการให้และมีความรู้สึกถึงการได้รับไปพร้อมกันที่ทั้งสองสิ่งเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญต่อการดำรงชีวิตเพื่อความอยู่รอดของเผ่าพันธุ์ที่ปรากฏหลักฐานทางวัฒนธรรมจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน

วิธีการสร้างสรรค์ได้หยิบยืมรูปแบบศิลปะพื้นถิ่นอีสานที่ได้จากการคัดลอกภาพผะเหวดโบราณเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ภาพลายเส้นผ้าผะเหวดถูกสร้างขึ้นในงานบุญเดือนสี่หรือบุญผะเหวดที่เล่าเรื่องพระเวสสันดรชาดกที่มีเนื้อหาในเรื่องทานบารมี

บุญผะเหวดคือการฟังเทศน์เรื่องพระเวสสันดรชาดกให้จบ 13 กัณฑ์ในวันเดียว เพื่อความเชื่อที่หวังผลในภพชาติต่อไปให้ได้เกิดในแผ่นดินพระศรีอริยเมตไตยหรือพระพุทธเจ้าองค์ต่อไป

จากการคัดลอกผ้าผะเหวดอีสานโบราณทำให้เกิดการพิจารณาตนเองว่ามีความสนใจในวัตถุโบราณและความผูกพันที่มีต่อแม่ที่ท่านเคยพาไปและได้พบเห็นโบราณวัตถุตามวัดวาอารามและได้ทำบุญปล่อยนกปล่อยปลา จึงเป็นแรงดลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ที่เชื่อมโยงความรักที่มีต่อแม่

พื้นผิวผลงานได้แสดงหลักธรรมความจริงในเรื่องของ “พระไตรลักษณ์” คือความไม่เที่ยงของทุกสรรพสิ่งอดีตความทรงจำทำให้คิดถึงแม่ที่ท่านเคยอยู่เลี้ยงดูลูกให้เติบใหญ่มีชีวิตอยู่รอดจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ที่ประกอบไปด้วยคุณความดีที่แม่สอนไว้ คติความเชื่อและความดีงามจากศาสนา ประเพณีวัฒนธรรมและความเชื่อในท้องถิ่นบ้านเกิด สุดท้ายนั้นคือความขยันหมั่นเพียรในการศึกษาและหน้าที่การงาน

แผ่นดินแห่งพระพุทธศาสนาในท้องถิ่นบ้านเกิดยังคงมีคติความเชื่อที่ให้ความสำคัญกับคำว่า “แม่” เป็นสำคัญ เช่น การกราบไหว้เพื่อขอความอุดมสมบูรณ์ในข้าวปลาอาหารที่เราจะขอจาก แม่คงคา แม่โพสพ แม่ย่านาง เป็นต้น ที่สุดแล้วผู้ที่เราควรกราบไหว้มากที่สุดก็คือ แม่ของเราเอง เพราะแม่คือผู้ให้เรามาโดยตลอดและใกล้ชิดเรามากที่สุดที่เราไม่ควรลืมท่านเพราะว่าท่านคือพระประจำบ้านที่ให้ลูกได้กราบไหว้ ขอพรให้เกิดความพากเพียรสู่ความสำเร็จดั่งใจปรารถนา

“FOREVER”
"Forever" is a work of art expressing the benefits of giving and receiving. Both are important for the prosperity of the human race, as recorded in history from the past to the present.

"Forever" is influenced by a native local artwork known as Pha Pra-Ves, a style created by a few local artists from E-San (the northeastern part of Thailand) depicting the last of the former lives of the Buddha when he was named Vessantatra. Their art is created for the Boon Pra-Ves Festival in the fourth Lunar month, celebrating this particular life of the Buddha, which has a great emphasis on giving. During the celebration of Boon Pra-Ves the monks recite the story of Vessantatra. It is believed that if you listen to the entire 13-chapter story in one day, your next life will be born into the period of the Metteyya Buddha.

Having studied antique Pha Pra-Ves works from E-San developed my interest in this art form. In addition, my mother used to take me to see many art pieces in the temples where we offered merit by bringing food to the monks and freeing birds and fish. As a result, my interest in this artwork is influenced by the love of my mother.

The textures of "Forever" are representative of the teachings of the Buddha, "Pra Trailuk", with regards to the three characteristics of existence, namely impermanence, unsatisfactoriness or suffering, and non-self. My mother is now non-existent in this world, but her teachings of goodness and belief in religion, cultural and local beliefs have had a great influence on my own education, success and happiness in life.

Belief in Buddhism and local beliefs often emphasize the Mother of Nature. We pray to Mae Po-Sop (the Mother of Rice), Mae Kong Ka (the Mother of Rivers) and many more. But most of all we should pray to and for our own Mother who was always there and gave her all to look after us. Then we will be successful as we wish.
