นิทรรศการ "Naked Beauty" (1st time in Asia) ผลงานโดย Sylvie Blum จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 25 มกราคม – 25 มีนาคม 2563 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 25 มกราคม 2563 เวลา14.00 น. ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะไทยร่วมสมัย : MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCABANGKOK) will be showing Sylvie Blum’s work titled “Naked Beauty” with a grand opening on January 25th, 2020. Public viewing is open until March 2020.
Austrian-born Sylvie Blum started her career as a model prior to taking the helm as a photographer. Sylvie has worked for 16 years in front of the camera with photographers such as Helmut Newton, Jeanloup Sieff and many more. She has published five books. Her 5th book “Naked Beauty” by TeNeues was followed by a joint exhibition with Herb Ritts at the Fahey Klein Gallery in Los Angeles. Since 2005 Sylvie Blum works and lives in Los Angeles.
Sylvie Blum is an exceptional photographer driven by passion and the love for photography. Sylvie Blum is at the forefront of the female force. She is the Ansel Adams of the female form.

Sylvie is the master of light: "I am surrounded by inspirations in my everyday life. Sometimes it can be shadow on my studio wall that gives me the kick. I love that graphic aspect a shadow can create on a body and a scenery. Or that light that leads you into a form. I plan my final image beforehand. It has to make sense why there is a shadow and where the light comes from.”

25 มกราคม – 25 มีนาคม 2563ความใฝ่ฝัน ที่ผันตนเองมาเป็น “หนึ่ง” ระดับโลก
พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะไทยร่วมสมัย (MOCA BANGKOK) กับนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายแนว Fine Art ของซิลวี่ บลูมกับการจัดแสดงครั้งแรกในเอเชีย ด้วยภาพชุด “Naked Beauty” เปิดให้เข้าชมระหว่างวันที่ 25 มกราคม – 25 มีนาคม 2563
ภาพถ่ายจำนวนเกือบ 100 ภาพของซีลวี่ บลูม ชุด “Naked Beuaty” ที่รวมถึงภาพชุด “Big Cat” อันโด่งดังไปทั่วโลกและภาพโพลารอยด์เกือบ 200 ภาพ ที่ศิลปินใช้เวลากว่า 20 ปี (1999 – 2019) บันทึกชีวิตการทำงานจะนำมาจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการดังกล่าว
ซิลวี่ บลูม ถือกำเนิดที่ประเทศออสเตรีย เริ่มอาชีพนางแบบก่อนจะผันตนเองมาเป็นช่างภาพ ตลอดระยะเวลา 16 ปีของการเป็นนางแบบที่มีชื่อเสียงโด่งดัง เธอได้ร่วมงานกับช่างภาพระดับโลกอย่าง Helmut Newton และ Jeanloup Sieff เป็นต้น เธอได้รับคำยกย่องให้เป็นช่างภาพขาว-ดำ หญิง ระดับโลกเทียบเท่า Ansel Adams เธอจัดพิมพ์ผลงานเป็นหนังสือ 5 เล่ม เล่มล่าสุดคือ Naked Beauty โดยสำนักพิมพ์ TeNeues และได้จัดแสดงนิทรรศการในชื่อเดียวกับหนังสือที่ Fahey Klein Gallery ในลอสแองเจิลลิส
เธอมีพรสวรรค์ด้านการจัดวางลีลาของนางแบบ สามารถถ่ายทอดความงามแห่งสรีระของผู้หญิงได้อย่างโดดเด่น แปลก และแตกต่าง เต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก และความงาม ไม่สำคัญว่านางแบบของเธอจะมีสัดส่วนเรือนร่างหรือสีผิวอย่างไร ซิลวี่สามารถดึงความงามนั้นออกมาให้ปรากฎชัดผ่านผลงานภาพถ่ายของเธอ
ความเชี่ยวชาญเป็นพิเศษด้านแสงเงา ที่เธอกล่าวว่า “ฉันมีอัจฉริยภาพด้านแสงเงา ภาพของฉันทุกภาพมีเอกลักษณ์ในการจัดแสงที่แตกต่าจากช่างภาพอื่น ฉันวางแผนทุกครั้งว่าจะให้เกิดเงาอย่างไร แสงจะมาจากทิศทมงไหน. ภาพนางแบบของเธอจึงดูงดงามดุจประติมากรรมมีชีวิต ผลงานของเธอเป็นอมตะ ร่วมสมัย และมีเอกลักษณ์สะท้อนความคิดสร้างสรรค์เยี่ยงงานศิลปะบริสุถธิ์ เพียบพร้อมด้วยความสมบูรณ์แบบ
