The three series of works in the exhibition “Dreamy Land” by Supasit Thrammaprasert reveals the truth in the world that has time, situation and hopelessness as their defining factors. The connection between the past, present and future are cunningly conveyed through different techniques

About Artist
Supasit Thrammaprasert   received Bachelor degree in Decorative arts from Silpakorn University in 2014. His graduation project received the prestigious award, “The Best Thesis Award 2014” in that year. In the same year, he also received the Young Thai Artist Award 2014 by SCG foundation. Supasit Thrammaprasert  works can be split into different sub-series, which share the same ideology of searching for an ideal world in our contemporary time. Supasit is not looking for a haven or Utopia, but he is observing contemporary history and politics, especially in Thailand, in search of an understanding of the social fabric, the struggle, the negotiation and the way to live in harmony amongst the people in the nation.

• Sep, 2014         To be selected in final round of Youth Thai Artist Award in Two-Dimensional Art Category.
• Aug, 2014         To be selected in semi final round of ART FORWAD FUND AWARD 2014.
• May, 2014         Got an Excellent Art Thesis Award in 2014; The Best Thesis Award 2014.
• March, 2014     To be selected to join with history and culture artist group the 3 rd project for young artist generation at Japan. ( This project for exchange Thai’s history and culture with JENESYS 2.0 by  Thai Culture Ministry.)
• March, 2014     To be selected to join with Contemporary Art for Youth Artist Camp; The 5th Young  Artists Talent.
• 2012                 Got a. M.R.Poonsawat Kridakorn Foundation Scholarship.
