นิทรรศการ “Thriller & Horror” โดย อัญชลี อารยะพงศ์พาณิชย์ นำเสนอผลงานจิตรกรรมที่จัดจ้านด้วยเรื่องราวเนื้อหาสนุกสนานเชิงจินตนาการ ด้วยแรงบันดาลใจจากภาพยนตร์ประเภทสยองขวัญ ตื่นเต้นเร้าใจ โดยใช้ภาพลักษณ์ของตัวศิลปินสาวเจ้าของผลงาน จำลองลงไปภายใต้บทบาทสมมติในภาพยนตร์ที่เธอชื่นชอบและมีความประทับใจ จิตรกรหญิงสาวจึงสามารถปรากฏกายในบริบทของตัวละครที่มีชีวิตโลดแล่นอยู่ในโลกแห่งภาพยนตร์ ความน่าสนใจของผลงานจิตรกรรมที่จำลองตนเองลงไปในฉากภาพยนตร์ บ่งบอกถึงแนวความคิดในการสร้างบทบาทใหม่อันสามารถให้รสชาติที่เร้าใจหลากหลายรูปแบบในความรู้สึกของศิลปิน เมื่อวิถีชีวิตประจำวันอันเรียบง่ายปกติธรรมดาช่างดาษดื่นสามัญ ซึ่งสวนทางกับความปรารถนาที่จะได้พบเผชิญกับความตื่นเต้น การผจญภัย ภารกิจเสี่ยงตาย รวมถึงการกระทำหรือการเดินทางที่คนทั่วไปทำไม่ได้ เส้นสายรูปทรงและฝีแปรงที่เด่นชัดเป็นเอกลักษณ์จึงถูกปัดป้ายลงบนผืนผ้าใบ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์มิติใหม่อันงดงามเพียบพร้อมไปด้วยจินตนาการและทักษะความเชี่ยวชาญของศิลปิน

Anchalee Arayapongpanich proudly presents latest exhibition “Thriller & Horror”, a series of bold and fanciful paintings inspired by thriller and horror movies. As the protagonist, the artist appears in every painting, imitating various portrayals of famous actors in her favorite Hollywood blockbusters. The interesting thing about this series is that it depicts the artist’s urge for new things, something that would spice up the mundane routine. That is the reason why she took over the roles in the movies just to get away from the regularity of her daily life. Impersonating those characters brought her excitement, adventures, life-risking missions and actions or journeys that ordinary people would never have a chance to experience. With her skillful hand, the extraordinary lines and unique brushstrokes, therefore, were drawn out to create a new dimension full of imagination.
