นิทรรศการ “BATTLE” ผลงานโดย กำศักดิ์ อติพิบูลย์สิน (GumsakAtipiboonsin) และ ทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์ (Taweesak Ujugatanond) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 7 กรกฎาคม - 14 สิงหาคม 2559 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 7 กรกฎาคม เวลา 18.00 น. ณ Subhashok The Arts Centre (S.A.C.) : ศุภโชค ดิ อาร์ต เซนเตอร์

นิทรรศการ “ BATTLE ”
เมื่อพื้นที่หอศิลป์ ศุภโชค ดิอาร์ท เซ็นเตอร์ต้องทำหน้าที่เป็นประหนึ่งสนามประลองให้ 2 ศิลปินผู้เคี่ยวกรำชำนาญในศิลปะแนวทางนามธรรม กำศักดิ์ อติพิบูลย์สิน และ ทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์ นำผลงานชุดสำคัญที่เสมือนลมหายใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนามธรรมที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะตัวแตกต่าง มาแสดงชั้นเชิงร่วมกันในนิทรรศการที่ใช้ชื่อว่า " BATTLE "

ศิลปะนามธรรมจากศิลปินกำศักดิ์ อติพิบูลย์สิน
“ ศิลปะนามธรรมคือภาษาสากลที่แสดงถึงสภาวะจิตภายในของศิลปิน เป็นการสื่อสารอย่างฉับพลัน ตรงไปตรงมา มีอิสรเสรีเหนือการควบคุมใดๆ สุนทรียะรสที่ได้รับจากศิลปะนามธรรมประหนึ่งอารมณ์ล้ำลึกจับใจของท่วงทำนองดนตรีชั้นเยี่ยมที่เมโลดี้นั้นทำหน้าที่สื่อสารความรู้สึกได้อย่างมหัศจรรย์แม้ปราศจากคำร้องบอกเล่าเนื้อหา ร่องรอย แรงกระทำจากฝีแปรงของศิลปินก็มีอำนาจในบริบทนั้นเช่นเดียวกัน ณ ขณะสร้างสรรค์ ผลงานตอบสนองจิตไร้สำนึกของศิลปิน แม้ผลลัพธ์เมื่อผลงานได้บรรลุสำเร็จ อาจไม่ได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นคำตอบให้เหตุและผลใด
แต่ศิลปะนามธรรมยังคงเป็นเจตนาและสัจจะจากศิลปินไม่เสื่อมคลาย กำศักดิ์ อติพิบูลย์สิน ลด ละ วาง รูป เล่า เรื่อง คงเหลือเพียงพลังของสีสันบนผืนผ้าใบ เพื่อให้ผลงานศิลปะนั้นเป็นดั่งบันทึกลมหายใจยืนหยัดแสดงศักดิ์ศรีวิถีศิลปินตราบนานเท่านาน "

ศิลปะนามธรรมจากศิลปินทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์
“ ศิลปะนามธรรมคือจารึกโครงสร้างความคิดที่ทำงานร่วมกันกับสัญชาตญาณสร้างสรรค์ของมนุษย์ การเฝ้าตั้งคำถามถึงคำตอบของสาระชีวิตนำทางให้ทวีศักดิ์ค้นพบสัจธรรมในพลังธรรมชาติ ศิลปินใช้ชีวิตก้าวเดินสมาธิท่ามกลางสวนกว้างวันละ2 - 3 ชั่วโมงตลอดระยะเวลามากกว่า 2 ปี เพื่อเฝ้าสังเกตซึมซับความเคลื่อนไหวของสายลม บึงนํ้า ผืนแผ่นดิน ท้องฟ้า ทุ่งทิว ก้อนเมฆ ภูเขาและ ทั้งหมดล้วนเป็นแรงดลใจที่ยิ่งใหญ่ให้ศิลปิน ผลงานศิลปะนามธรรมของทวีศักดิ์ ให้มิติทับซ้อนทั้งทางสายตาและความรู้สึก ความร้อนแรงคุกรุ่น ปะทุอยู่ภายใต้โทนสีที่เยือกเย็น
มวล ปริมาตร จากการทับซ้อนเนื้อสีชั้นแล้วชั้นเล่า ที่ศิลปินใช้เทคนิคนำสีผสมดินให้เป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน นอกจากนั้นศิลปินยังเติมเต็มอารมณ์ดุเดือดสะใจ ด้วยการใช้เนื้อสีปริมาณมหาศาลปาดป้ายไม่ยั้ง เพื่อสร้างแรงปะทะให้เกิดขึ้นบนพื้นผิวระนาบ
สารัตถะในก้นบึ้งลึกของชีวิต และการเคารพต่ออำนาจในธรรมชาติ คือปรากฎการณ์สำคัญในศิลปะนามธรรมของศิลปิน ”

“BATTLE” Exhibition
The space inside S.A.C Subhashok the Arts Centre is now used as a battle ground between two experienced artists with great skills in abstract arts: GumsakAtipiboonsin and TaweesakUjugatanond. They present their own set of unique abstract paintings, which are like the breath of their creativity, together in an exhibition called “Battle.”

Here is an opinion about abstract art created by Gumsak Atipiboonsin:
“Abstract art is a universal language that communicates the conditions of the artist’s mind immediately and directly. It is free and not limited by any regulations. The aesthetic taste we receive from abstract art is like a deep and impressive emotion that we get after listening to a masterpiece of instrumental music composition in which the melody amazingly communicates feelings to us without the use of any words. Traces and strokes of the artist’s brush have the same power while he is creating a piece of art. The created work responds to the need of the subconscious mind of the artist. Although the result of the finished work may not be an answer to any reasoning questions,it is still a reflection of the artist’s intention and truth even today. GumsakAtipiboonsinreduces and abandons forms and stories in his paintings. Only the power of the colors remains on the canvas. His work is like a record of his breathes that will endure to affirm the integrity of the life of an artist for ages to come.

Here is an opinion about abstract art created by Taweesak Ujugatanond:
“Abstract art is engraved with the structure of human thoughts that work together with the human creative instinct. Years of pondering questions about the essence of life leads Taweesak to find the truth in the power of nature. The artist does walking meditation in his big garden 2-3 hours per day throughout the past two years. He absorbs the movement of the wind, the pond, the earth, the sky, the field, the cloud and the mountain. These become the inspiration for his work of art, which is complex to the eyes and feelings. Smoldering heat is burning under cooling tone of colors. The amount and thickness creates layer after layer of colors. The artist uses the technique of blending the colors and the soil together. He addsfierceness of feelings by using a large amount of colors on his innumerable strokes. This is to create a concussion between a flat area and the essence in the depth of life, as well as respect for the power of nature. These are the major phenomena in the abstract art of the artist.

Two artists with strong faith in the abstract art: GumsakAtipiboonsinand TaweesakUjugatanond, want to invite you to be a part of “Battle”, the exhibition of their life time.
