เพราะชีวิตเป็นสิ่งเปราะบาง หลายคนอาจไม่ได้นึกถึงหรือเอาใจใส่กับชีวิตของตนในระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา จนได้มาเจอกับตัวเองจึงเข้าใจว่า ความเปราะบางอยู่รอบๆตัวเรา วสันต์ สิทธิเขตต์ เป็นอีกคนหนึ่งที่หยิบยกเรื่องราวความเปราะบางของชีวิต สภาพสังคม วัฒนธรรมและการเมืองที่เขาพบเจอมาตลอดระยะเวลาในการทำงานมานำเสนอ และสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงแนวคิดนี้ ในนิทรรศการ Life is Fragile : ชีวิตเป็นสิ่งเปราะบาง

การแสดงนิทรรศการเดี่ยวของเขาในครั้งนี้ยังได้รวบรวมเอาผลงานหลายๆ ชุดที่น้อยคนจะหาชมได้ในประเทศไทย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผลงานชุด Nightmare in Paradise งานดรออิ้งและภาพพิมพ์ในยุคก่อนๆรวมไปถึงผลงานชุดใหม่ของวสันต์ที่แสดงออกภายใต้แนวคิดชีวิตเป็นสิ่งเปราะบางที่รูปแบบงานยังคงความสดดิบความมีพลังและเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของเขาอย่างเช่นเคย

นิทรรศการชีวิตเป็นสิ่งเปราะบางเปิดให้เข้าชมในวันที่ 27 มิถุนายน - 25 กรกฎาคม 2558 และขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วมพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 4 กรกฎาคม 2558 เวลา 18:00 น. ณ นำทองแกลเลอรี อารีย์ 72/3 อารีย์ 5 เหนือ ถนนพหลโยธิน เขตพญาไท กทม. 10400 l BTS อารีย์ ทางออกหมายเลข 3

Life is Fragile

Since life is fragile, many may never realize or focus on their lives as time passed, until they have realized that fragility is just around the corner. Vasan Sitthiket is another artist who dares to present the fragility of life, society, culture and politics that he encountered throughout working, and reflected the concept in Life is Fragile exhibition.

Vasan’s solo exhibition includes many series of artwork. Several of which are hardly seen in Thailand, such as Nightmare in Paradise series, drawing, printings in his early working life, and the latest series that represent the life’s fragility with his fresh, raw, powerful and unique style as usual.
