นิทรรศการ "พร้อมสรรพ Ready, Set, Go!"

นิทรรศการศิลปะร่วมสมัย "พร้อมสรรพ Ready, Set, Go!" ผลงานโดย จอมเปท คุสวิดานันโต (Jompet Kuswidananto), ซูลกิเฟิล มาฮ์โมด (Zulkifle Mahmod), วันทนีย์ ศิริพัฒนานันทกูร (Wantanee Siripattananuntakul), กฤช งามสม (Krit Ngamsom) และประเสริฐ ยอดแก้ว (Prasert Yodkaew) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ - 27 มีนาคม 2558 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร วังท่าพระ

นิทรรศการ พร้อมสรรพ Ready , set , go ! เป็นพื้นที่ในภาคขยายของสิ่งต่างๆที่สำเร็จรูปทางศิลปะ ที่ไม่ควรชื่นชมผลงานอย่างสำเร็จรูป ความเพรียบพร้อมในผลงานศิลปะนั้นอาจมาพร้อมกับสิ่งต่างๆที่ซ้อนทับจนต้องเเยกออกทีละชั้นเเละพินิจให้ถึงเเก่นสารของเเต่ละวัตถุว่ามีความหมายเเละความเป็นไปอย่างไร

เเต่ละวัตถุ/วัสดุของเเต่ละวัฒนธรรมนั้นอาจมีหน้าที่การใช้งานที่คล้ายคลึงหรือเหมือนกันจนเเยกกันไม่ออก หากเเต่ในรายละเอียดทางวัฒนธรรมจะเป็นสิ่งที่เเยกเเยะความคล้ายคลึงนี้ออกจากกันจนสามารถเห็นสาระที่เเตกต่างกัน วัตถุเดียวกันหน้าที่การใช้งานเดียวกัน อาจให้ความหมายทางการรับรู้ที่เเตกต่างกันไปตามเเต่วัฒนธรรม ผลงานในนิทรรศการนี้คือการนำวัตถุ/วัสดุสำเร็จรูปในเเต่ละวัฒนธรรมในภูมิภาคอาเซียนมานำเสนอผ่านบริบทในการรับรู้ทางศิลปะเเละเรียนรู้บริบททางวัฒนธรรมผ่านวัสดุสำเร็จรูปที่ดูเหมือนจะพร้อมสรรพ

A contemporary art exhibition by 5 artists : Jompet Kuswidananto (Indonesia), Zulkifle Mahmod (Singapore), Wantanee Siripattananuntakul (Thailand), Krit Ngamsom (Thailand) and Prasert Yodkaew (Thailand).

พร้อมสรรพ Ready, Set, Go! exhibition is an extra space for readymade art objects that should not be appreciated in an instant way. Instances in art works might come along with assorted things that lay over each other so that they have to be separated into layers and considered to the core of each object what they mean and how they act.

Each object/material in each culture might have similar usages that cannot be distinguished, but profound cultural details will differentiate this similarity to a point that different contents can be seen. Same object with same usage might give different perceptual meanings in accordance with different cultures. The works featured in this exhibition are created by bringing forth readymade objects/materials from each culture in South East Asia and presenting them all the way through their contexts in artistic perceptions and learning their cultural contexts through these readymades which seem to be instant.
