นิทรรศการ The Momentum ผลงานโดย เปี่ยมจันทร์ บุญไตร, ป๋อง แท่งทอง, ณัฐภัทร ดิสสร, คียาภัทร เกตุไสว และเพนท์ฟ้า ชาญชุติวาณิช 15 พฤศจิกายน 2557 - 18 มกราคม 2558 และจะมีพิธีในวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2557 เวลา 18 :00 ณ Subhashok The Arts Centre (S.A.C.) : ศุภโชค ดิ อาร์ต เซนเตอร์

Momentum คือ ความสามารถในการเคลื่อนที่ของวัตถุ ในความเร็วเท่ากัน วัตถุที่มีมวลมากกว่าจะขับเคลื่อนเร็วและแรงกว่าวัตถุที่มวลน้อย
คำนิยาม “ The Momentum “ จึงถูกหยิบยกมาเป็นคอนเซ็ปต์หลัก ห้กับงานนิทรรศการส่งท้ายปลายปี ของ หอศิลป์ ศุภโชค ดิ อาร์ท เซ็นเตอร์
เพื่อเปรียบเปรยถึงสภาวะพลังการสร้างสรรค์ของศิลปินที่ไม่หยุดนิ่ง ผ่านผลงานหลากหลายรูปแบบจาก 5 ศิลปิน ไทยมากความสามารถที่มีรูปแบบงานโดดเด่นชัดเจน มีทิศทางเฉพาะตน แตกต่างกันไปตามมิติชีวิต
The Momentum คือแรงขับเคลื่อนของชีวิตศิลปิน ที่จะเร็วหรือแรง ทรงพลังแค่ไหน งานศิลปะของเขาและเธอคือคำตอบ......................

เปี่ยมจันทร์ บุญไตร ศิลปินหญิงมากพรสวรรค์ เอกลักษณ์ของผลงานเป็นที่จดจำ ทั้งความแสบสันต์ ประชดประชันสังคมได้อย่างมีอารมณ์ขัน รอบนี้เป็นการเดินทางต่อจากนิทรรศการ Human Noid ในปีที่แล้ว ศิลปินเพิ่มดีกรีความสนุกเร้าใจให้กับผลงานประติมากรรมของตนเอง ด้วยเทคนิคที่หลากหลาย ผสมผสาน แต่ยังคงการันตีเนื้อหาผลงานที่ ครบรส กลมกล่อม เรียกรอยยิ้มจากผู้ดูได้แน่นอน .......

ป๋อง แท่งทอง ผลงานในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของนิยามคำว่าศิลปินอย่างเต็มตัวครั้งแรกในชีวิตของเขา ประสบการณ์ที่ผูกพันกับงาน Stop motion มาร่วม 10 ปี ทำให้เขาคนนี้กำลังจะสร้างมิติใหม่ในวงการประติมากรรม เทคนิควิธีการเฉพาะทางที่คิดค้นขึ้นถูกนำมาเป็นกลไกสำคัญสำหรับการสร้างงาน ขึ้นงานจากมือ และจบงานพร้อมด้วยร่องรอย ลายนิ้ว เสมือนถ่ายทอด dna ตน ไปบนพื้นผิวผลงานเหล่านั้น ความน่ารักจากคาแรคเตอร์ที่เขาสร้าง ซ่อนนัยยะชีวิตสีเทา ความเหงาโดดเดี่ยว การยึดติดกับบางสิ่งตลอดมา งานศิลปะครั้งนี้ของเขาจึงคล้ายจะเป็นลายแทงให้ศิลปินตามหาตัวตนในบทบาทที่รอคอย ......

ณัฐภัทร ดิสสร ศิลปินหน้าใหม่ที่มีสไตล์ส่วนตัวไม่เหมือนใคร การวิจารณ์ ล้อเลียนและเย้ยหยันสังคม คือความท้าทายสำหรับเขา ศิลปินสร้างผลงานให้มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้คน เจตนารอคนมาร่วมเล่นด้วยผลงานในครั้งนี้จัดเต็มทั้ง 2 มิติ และ 3 มิติ อาทิเช่น ผลงานวาดเส้นการ์ตูนความหมายร้ายลึก งานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมัน กับความจงใจส่วนตัวที่อยากให้เห็นได้ทั้งด้านหน้า และ ด้านหลัง และยังมีจิ๊กซอว์ไม้ขนาดใหญ่ ที่สร้างขึ้นจา กตัวละครที่อ้างอิงที่มาจากชีวิตจริงของตัวศิลปินเอง ผลงานของเขาเหมือนเกมส์ทดสอบจิตใจ ช่วงชิงกันระหว่างอำนาจฝ่ายต่ำของมนุษย์ และความรักความเมตตาที่สังคมอาจจะหลงลืม........

คียาภัทร เกตุไสว ศิลปินอายุน้อยทักษะเยี่ยมที่ครั้งนี้ถ่ายทอดความชื่นชอบส่วนตัว เขียนภาพบุคคลที่มีบทบาทสำคัญหลากหลาย ทั้งผู้นำการปกครอง ศิลปิน นักร้อง นักแสดง หรือบุคคลที่ถูกนิยามให้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจของโลก มีส่วนเปลี่ยนแปลงแนวคิดชีวิตผู้คน ผลงานของเขาเต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยเสน่ห์ และมีสไตล์การเขียนที่เป็นตัวของตัวเองอย่างดีเยี่ยม ภาพเขียนชุดนี้ มีที่มาเริ่มต้นมาจากสมุดสเก็ตซ์หนึ่งเล่มที่เปรียบเสมือนพื้นที่ฝึกฝนจิตใจของศิลปิน ......

ปิดท้ายด้วยน้องเล็ก เด็กหญิงเพนท์ฟ้า ชาญชุติวาณิช เด็กน้อยที่เติบโตพร้อมกับพรสวรรค์ที่งดงาม เมื่อเริ่มเข้าสู่ระบบการศึกษา การศึกษาแบบ โฮมสคูลโดยครอบครัวคือทางที่เลือกเพื่อมุ่งมั่นเรียนรู้ศิลปะอย่างเต็มที่ พรสวรรค์และใจรักศิลปะของลูกสาวได้รับการประคับประคองด้วยแรงใจจากครอบครัวที่ทุ่มเทผลักดันให้ทักษะของสาวน้อยพุ่งทะยานไกล ผลงานตั้งแต่ระหว่างอายุ 6 ขวบถึงปัจจุบัน มากกว่า 100 ชิ้น จะถูกนำมาโชว์ในงานครั้งนี้ ผลงานที่จะสร้างประสบการณ์ใหม่ให้กับวงการศิลปะ และเชื่ออย่างยิ่งว่าเมื่อได้ชมผลงานของเธอ ผู้ดูอาจลืมไปเลยคือผลงานของเด็กหญิงอายุเพียง 8 ขวบเท่านั้น

Momentum is the movement of an object.

In the same speed, an object with more mass will move faster than an object with lesser mass. The word “momentum” is brought up as the core concept for the end-of-year exhibition at Subhashok the Arts Centre to refer to the creative momentum of our artists that never stops. Through the borderless creativity of five talented Thai artists whose works maintain their own identity and directions; differing in their own paths of life.

The Momentum is an exhibition driven by the lives of the artists. You are invited to discover their speed and impact by their arts.

Piamchan Boontrai, a gifted female artist whose unique works are very memorable for their satirical take on the society; this time she has traveled forward from the exhibition Human-Noid last year. She has turned the heat up to higher degrees with her sculptures incorporating various techniques, but we guarantee very tasteful and juicy contents that will call for your thoughts.

Pong Tangtong, This exhibition marks the start line for his path as an artist first time in his life. With the experience in stop motion animation for over ten years, Pong has brought a new dimension into the world of Thai sculpture. With an original technique that Pong has used as the core mechanism to put together his sculptures by hand, he finishes of each sculpture with a trace of his fingerprints as though he is transferring his DNA on to the surface of his art works. Behind the cute characters that he has created hides loneliness and solitude that had always been clinging on to him. This exhibition is like a map for him to trace to his true self that he’s been searching for.

Nattaphat Dissorn, Our new artist with his own unique style. Making fun of the society is the challenge Nattaphat tackles constantly. The artist had created art works that will interact with the audience, waiting for someone to join in with their play. This exhibition comes in full throttle both in two dimensional and three dimensional works, for example, his drawings and oil paintings that are meant to be seen and appreciated from both the front and the back of the canvas; the wooden jigsaws that are created based on the real characters in the artist’s life.

Nattaphat’s works are like a game that tests the audience hearts – the fight between the lower morals in ourselves and the love and kindness that we may have forgotten.

Keeyapaht Ketsawai, A young artist with incredible skills. This time, he chooses to present his personal preference for painting portraits of important people who influences the world: from leaders to artists to people who are called the “inspiration” to the world. His charming and personalised style of painting and drawing .

Last but not least, Paintfa Chanchutiwanich – A little girl that grows up each day with her beautiful gift. Being educated by a home-school system, Paintfa’s parents support and encourage her to pursue her artistic passion with full momentum. Paintfa takes off her exhibition with over a hundred pieces of art works that she had been working on since she was six years old. This exhibition will bring a new sensation and experience to the Thai art scene; and we believe strongly that once you get to see her work, you will forget that she is only eight years old.
