นิทรรศการ "Genii Loci"

นิทรรศการ "Genii Loci" ผลงานโดย รัฐ เปลี่ยนสุข (Rush Pleansuk) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 21 ตุลาคม - 7 ธันวาคม 2557 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันอังคารที่ 21 ตุลาคม 2557 เวลา 18.30 น. ณ ARDEL's Third Place Gallery : อาร์เดลเธิร์ดเพลสแกลเลอรี่

นิทรรศการ Genii Loci นำเสนอผลงานศิลปะอันผสมผสานระหว่างประติมากรรม สถาปัตยกรรม และการออกแบบที่สอดแทรกมิติทางวัฒนธรรมแบบพื้นถิ่นของไทย ด้วยแรงบันดาลใจเกี่ยวกับวัฏจักรแห่งชีวิต เรือนร่าง การเติบโตล้มตาย และความทรงจำที่แฝงซ่อนอยู่ในวัตถุเครื่องใช้อันมีประวัติศาสตร์ของผู้คน ภายใต้ประเด็นของคำว่า Genii Loci ซึ่งมีรากศัพท์มาจากภาษาโรมัน หมายถึง วิญญาณที่คอยปกปักรักษาสถานที่ใดสถานที่หนึ่ง ผลงานทั้งหมดสร้างสรรค์โดย รัฐ เปลี่ยนสุข ศิลปินมากความสามารถผู้มีบทบาทเป็นทั้งนักออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์และผลิตภัณฑ์ สถาปนิก อินทีเรียดีไซเนอร์ คอลัมนิสต์ ฯลฯ

Genii Loci exhibition presents the blended artworks including sculpture, architecture and design integrated with Thai traditional culture. The exhibition is inspired by the concept of life cycle, body and memory depicted through artifacts. Genii Loci, Roman words, refers to protective spirit of a place. The creative works of art are created by Rush Pleansuk, a prominent artist, furniture and product designer, architect, interior designer and columnist.
