แมตดอท อาร์ต เซนเตอร์ เปิดตัวนิทรรศการ ‘เซอร์คัส รีโหลด’ โดยศิลปิน จานลูกา เวอร์นิซซี นำเสนอส่วนผสมอันลงตัวของงานศิลปะ ซึ่งมีที่มาจากการพัฒนาเรื่องและภาพของนิทรรศการครั้งก่อนหน้า ได้แก่ การเสียดสีสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งในโลกร่วมสมัยในผลงานชุด ‘เซอร์คัส โมเดนา’ และความพยายามที่จะสร้างการตระหนักรู้ถึงความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างความคิดและจิตใจในผลงานชุด ‘เซอร์คัส บางกอก’

หลังจากการเปิดตัวครั้งแรกของ ‘เซอร์คัส โมเดนา’ ที่เมืองโมเดนา ประเทศอิตาลี ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2567 ตามมาด้วยกิจกรรมทัวร์การกุศลที่จัดขึ้นในกรุงเทพฯ เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม ที่ผ่านมา ตลอดระยะเวลายี่สิบเอ็ดวันของการจัดแสดงครั้งนี้ “เซอร์คัส รีโหลด” จะเป็นพื้นที่แห่งการทบทวนถึงความตระหนักรู้ต่อสถานการณ์โลกที่เกิดขึ้นมาแล้วในรอบปี ถ่ายทอดสารัตถะของความขัดแย้งและความฝันที่หายไป และเชื้อเชิญให้ผู้ชมได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการพิจารณาประเด็นร่วมสมัยต่างๆ ผ่านมุมมองทางศิลปะอันน่าประหลาดใจ

MATDOT Art Center are delighted to announce the upcoming art exhibition, ‘CIRCUS Reloaded,’ by Gianluca Vernizzi. Building on the rich narrative and imagery developed in previous exhibitions, ‘CIRCUS Reloaded’ offers a unique blend of artworks. The event combines the sarcastic critiques of global controversies from ‘CIRCUS Modena’ and the gentle provocations that appeal to both intellect and emotion from the ‘CIRCUS Bangkok’ Charity Tour.

Originally launched in Modena, Italy, in May, and followed by a charity tour in Bangkok on 20 October 2024, this 21-day “encore” event serves as an end-of-year, on-demand recap of global awareness. It captures the essence of fleeting conflicts and dreams, inviting attendees to engage with contemporary issues through a compelling artistic lens.
