วันจันทร์ - เสาร์ เวลา 9.00 น. - 18.00 น. (ยกเว้นวันอาทิตย์และวันหยุดราชการ)

เมื่อเราอยู่ในห้วงสถานการณ์และเวลาของการเหม่อมองความเป็นไปของ “ความจริง” เราจะเห็นม่านหมอกจางๆของความว่างเปล่า หากแต่ความว่างเปล่านั้นมิได้เปลือยเปล่า โดยกำเนิดแล้วความว่างคือสภาวะหนึ่งของการละทิ้ง ปลดเปลื้อง หรือมลายหายสลายไปของสิ่งที่มีอยู่ ความว่างอาจมีมโนทัศน์สุดไกลไร้ขอบเขต เป็นทั้งความเวิ้งว้างของจักรวาลอันไกลโพ้น เป็นทั้งเวลาที่เป็นอนันต์ เป็นนามธรรม แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน การที่เราจะรับรู้สภาวะความว่างดังกล่าวได้นั้น เราต้องรับรู้ความมีอยู่ของ “สิ่ง” ที่ดำรงอยู่ ขอบเขตของความว่างจึงมีความจำเป็นต่อการปลดเปลือยเผยให้เห็นถึงการสลายหายไปจนนำไปสู่สภาวะแห่งความว่างเปล่า

ในนิทรรศการภูมิทัศน์ของความว่างเปล่า สนิทัศน์ ประดิษฐ์ทัศนีย์ ได้สร้างสภาวะของการเข้าสู่ความว่างเปล่าที่พาผู้ชมเข้าไปสู่ห้วงสถานการณ์จำเพาะของพื้นที่และเวลา สู่มโนทัศน์ของการเข้าไปค้นหาความจริงในมิติของการเข้าไปสู่เขตแดน (ปริมณฑล) ของสภาวะการไร้รูปนาม ม่านหมอกของสาระแห่งการดำรงอยู่ได้นำพาผู้ชมให้เดินตามวิถีทางแห่งสัจจะของเวลาที่ทุกอย่างสลายแตกดับเหลือแต่เพียงความว่างเปล่า

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
สนิทัศน์ ประดิษฐ์ทัศนีย์ เกิด 2523 กรุงเทพฯ พำนักและทำงานในกรุงเทพฯ

สนิทัศน์จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีด้านภูมิสถาปัตยกรรม จากคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และปริญญาโทด้านทัศนศิลป์จาก Chelsea College of Art and Design ประเทศอังกฤษ สนิทัศน์สนใจพื้นที่เชิงประติมากรรม (sculptural space) ภายหลังจบการศึกษา สนิทัศน์ได้ก่อตั้งสนิทัศน์ สตูดิโอ ขึ้นในปี 2553 ทำงานออกแบบภูมิสถาปัตยกรรมควบคู่กับการทำงานศิลปะ และศิลปะจัดวางมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

สนิทัศน์ มีความสนใจในสาระของแนวคิดเรื่องการทำให้มีอยู่ และการเคลื่อนตัวสลายไปของสรรพสิ่ง ผลงานของเธอมักมุ่งเน้นไปที่การสร้างพื้นที่ปฎิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คน พื้นที่ และเวลา สามสิ่งนี้คือแก่นแกนหลักของแนวคิดในผลงานที่เธอสนใจ สนิทัศน์ มักสร้างประติมากรรมที่แทรกตัวไปในแนวคิดของการค้นหาความจริงด้วยการปลดเปลื้องและเผยให้เห็นถึงสาระของ “ความว่าง” โดยยังคงเผยให้เห็นถึงละอองบางอย่างของความจริงที่อยู่ในกฎจักรวาล ความพร่าเลือนของเวลาและความจริงที่เธอนำเสนอผ่านวัตถุหรือการสร้างพื้นที่ว่างในผลงานนั้น ทำให้เธอและผู้ชมได้กลายเป็นผู้จับจ้องความจริงและความเป็นไปของธรรมชาติที่เคลื่อนตัวตลอดเวลาได้อย่างน่าสนใจ

The opening reception is on Friday 22 March 2024 at 6.30 pm
at the Main Hall of the Art Centre, Silpakorn University (Wangthapra).

The exhibition will be on view from 22 March to 8 June 2024.
Mon - Sat 9 am to 6 pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays)

When we are in the situation and time of absentmindedly staring at the possibility of "truth", we will see a thin smog of emptiness. The emptiness is not naked, though. The origin of this emptiness stems from the condition of letting go, liberating or disappearing from existence. The emptiness, with its boundless horizons, is an abstract, endless time and infinite universe in a faraway distance. At the same time, to perceive this condition, we need to be aware of "what" exists. The boundary of emptiness, thus, plays a crucial role in unveiling this evanescence leading to the state of emptiness.

Landscape of Emptiness by Sanitas Pradittasnee creates a condition through which the audience enters a state of emptiness, taking them into specific situations of space and time to venture into the concept of seeking truth in the frontier or "perimeter" of abstraction. The cloud of existence takes the audience down the path of the truth of time, where everything perishes, leaving only emptiness.

About artist
Sanitas Pradittasnee (born 1980, Bangkok), lives and works in Bangkok

Sanitas graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University and MFA at Chelsea College of Art and Design, UK. With her interest in sculptural space, after graduation, she founded Sanitas Studio in 2010, where she continued creating her installation art alongside landscape architectural design.
 
Sanitas is interested in the existence, the movement and the disappearance of all matters. Her works always focus on building a space of interactions between humans, space, and time, which are her three core concepts. Sanitas creates sculptures that venture into the concept of seeking the truth by unveiling the essence of “emptiness” yet revealing some mist of truth under the law of the universe. The obscurity of time and truth presented through objects and voids in her works has interestingly turned both herself and the audience into the gazer of truth and nature that are constantly moving.
