'ส้มตำ' มารดาแห่งความแซ่บขั้นสุด อยากใส่ อยากปรุง อยากเติมให้เผ็ด ให้แซ่บ ให้นัว ให้เข้มข้นเบอร์ไหนก็ไม่ผิด จะตำที่ไหน เมื่อไหร่ ก็แซ่บไม่มีซ้ำ
ส้มตำแผ่กระแสความสดแซ่บจากอีสาน แทรกซึมไปทั่วไทย และกระจายไกลไปทั่วโลก

อีสานมีอะไร ทำไมถึงให้กำเนิดความแซ่บได้ขนาดนี้?

‘RED EARTH AND GREEN PAPAYA’ คือนิทรรศการสุดแซ่บตามประสาตัวแม่ โดยนีโน่ สาระบุตร ศิลปินหญิงมาดเท่ผู้จะมาบอกเล่าเรื่องราว soft power จากแดนอีสานนี้ ผ่านศิลปะจัดวางและสื่อผสมที่ยังคงเอกลักษณ์ด้วยการตั้งคำถามและชี้ชวนให้ขบคิดเหมือนเคย

'Somtum', the tastiest queen of all dishes, bears no restrictions on the ingredients and condiments. There is no right or wrong for what you would add to your mortar, no fixed spice levels or how rich it could be. The dish will not cease to challenge your taste buds whenever or wherever you make it. Somtum has permeated its freshness and heat from Isan to different parts of Thailand and around the world.

What is there in Isan? How could it deliver such incredible flavor?

‘RED EARTH AND GREEN PAPAYA’ is a scrumptious exhibition by Nino Sarabutra. The chic artist will retell the story of this soft power from Isan through her installation and mixed media art that still maintains her identity by asking and provoking the audience to think.
