“เพราะเชื่อ จึงไร้คำถาม”จากเอกสารวิชาการมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งสรุปว่า
“ความเชื่อ หมายถึง ความคิด ความเข้าใจและการยอมรับ นับถือ เชื่อมั่นในสิ่งหนึ่งสิ่งใดโดยไม่ต้องมีเหตุผลใดมาสนับสนุนหรือพิสูจน์ ทั้งนี้บางอย่างอาจมีหลักฐานอย่างเพียงพอที่จะพิสูจน์ได้ หรืออาจจะไม่มีหลักฐานที่จะนำมาใช้พิสูจน์ให้เห็นจริงเกี่ยวกับสิ่งนั้นก็ได้”ที่ผ่านมาความเชื่อเป็นสิ่งยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจของมนุษย์ในทุกสังคมและวัฒนธรรม จากประสบการณ์การเคยครองสมณเพศ บวชเรียน อยู่ระยะเวลาหนึ่ง ทำให้ศิลปินได้ ได้สังเกตุเห็นบางอย่าง ตั้งคำถามถึงรูปธรรมของความศรัทธา การมีอยู่จริงหรือสิ่งที่จับต้องได้ของความเชื่อที่สามารถพิสูจน์ได้ ในเมื่อไม่เห็นเป็นรูปธรรม คำว่า “ที่ยึดเหนี่ยว” มีที่มาจากตรงไหน
“หรืออาจจะเป็นเพราะจริงๆแล้ว มนุษย์เพียงต้องการสิ่งที่ยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจในโดยไร้เหตุผล
ไม่ต้องการพิสูจน์ว่า สิ่งที่เราเชื่อนั้นเป็นเรื่องจริงหรือไม่ หรือเป็นแค่เพียงเรื่องเล่าปรัมปราหรือเปล่า?”ศรัทธา ควรจะมาควบคู่กับ ปัญญา
..ยิ่งรู้มาก ยิ่งต้องเข็มแข็ง ยิ่งไม่เชื่อ ยิ่งพิสูจน์ ยิ่งมองลึก ยิ่งเห็นแจ้ง..

ตรีธนา วีระประพันธ์ หรือ ต้าร์ (aka 88TGU)ตรีธนา เข้ามาในวงการศิลปะด้วยการเป็นนักวาดภาพประกอบ
ถึงแม้ว่าตอนนี้ใครหลายๆคนจะรู้จักเขาในฐานะศิลปิน art toy และ street art ภายใต้ชื่อ 88TGU ก็ตาม
88TGU เป็นศิลปินที่ทำผลงานตามความชอบ เอกลักษณ์งานของเขา คือ ความสนุกสนาน ความยียวน กวนใจ ล้อเลียนสิ่งต่างๆรอบตัวที่ศิลปินชอบ รวมถึงไลฟ์สไตล์ของเขาลงไปในผลงาน
สำหรับ 88TGU เปรียบการทำงานศิลปะ เป็นเหมือนการทดลอง เช่นเดียวกับชีวิตของเขาเองที่ชอบ ท่องเที่ยว หากิจกรรมหาอะไรใหม่ๆ ให้ชีวิต เพื่อเก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ ได้เรียนรู้
ศิลปินเปรียบการใช้ชีวิตคือการสร้างงานศิลปะ (Life is art) การเติมเต็มความไม่รู้ เติมเต็มพลังชีวิต การต่อสู้ การทดลอง เพราะชีวิตและสิ่งรอบตัว เปรียบเสมือนห้องทดลองอันกว้างใหญ่Powerman
เป็นตัวแทน คาแรคเตอร์ที่ 88TGU สร้างขึ้น โดยเปรียบเป็นเด็กที่มีแววตาสดใสมุ่งมั่น ภายใต้หน้ากากนักมวยปล้ำ Lucha (Lucha Mask) ซึ่งหมายถึง ศักดิ์ศรีและเกียรติยศ“หน้ากากช่วยปกป้องตัวตนของนักสู้” ปกป้องบดบังใบหน้า การปิดบังซ่อนเร้น การเสแสร้ง หรืออาจเพียงเพื่อความสวยงาม
หน้ากาก ยังแฝงนัยยะในหลายๆความหมาย รวมถึงบริบทที่แสดงถึงการสวมใส่จิตวิญญาณ สวมความเป็น คนอื่นหรือสิ่งอื่น และการใส่เพื่อปกปิดอำพรางปกปิดตัวตน จึงเป็นสำนวน ที่กล่าวว่า “สวมหน้ากาก”ซึ่งสำนวนนี้หมายถึงการเสแสร้งท่าทาง ท่าที หรือกิริยาอาการที่ไม่ใช่นิสัยที่แท้จริง รวมถึงเหล่าฮีโร่ (Hero) เหล่าขบวนการเซนไต (Zentai) ที่ต้องใส่หน้ากากเพื่อ ปกปิดพลังแฝงที่แท้จริง
คาแรคเตอร์ “Powerman” คือตัวแทนการปกปิดพลังแฝงที่มีอยู่ในตัวของทุกคน รวมถึงการเป็นตัวแทนของนักสู้ที่ฝืนชะตา ดิ้นรนทุกอย่าง ต่อสู้ ไม่ยอมตาย ไม่ยอมแพ้ต่อโชคชะตา ที่แม้จะเหลือโอกาสรอดตายแค่เพียงหนึ่งในล้านก็ตาม เพราะเขาเชื่อว่าพลังที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่ซ่อนอยู่ อาจจะเป็นส่วนที่เล็กที่สุดในจิตใจ

at WTF Gallery and Café“Because I believe, there are no questions.”
From an academic document from a university, it was concluded that “Belief means thinking, understanding and accepting, respecting, believing in something without any reason to support or prove it. Some may have sufficient evidence to prove it or there may be no evidence to prove the truth about that.”
In history, beliefs were the anchors of the human mind in all societies and cultures. From the artist’s experience of having been a monk ordained for a period of time ; an artist has noticed something and questioning the nature of faith: The physical or tangible existence of a belief that can be proven. Since it is not concrete, where does the word “Bonding” come from? “Or maybe it's because Humans only want things that hold their minds for no reason and do not want to prove that Is what we believe true? Or is it just a myth?”
Faith should go hand in hand with wisdom.The more you know, the stronger you must be. The more you don't believe,the more you prove. The more you look deeply, the more you see.

About Artist :
Treetana veeraprapan or Tar (aka 88TGU)Treetana entered the art scene as an illustrator. Although many people know him as an art toy and street art artist under the name ‘88TGU’ at the present.
88TGU is an artist who works on passion. The uniqueness of his work is fun, quirky, distracting, mimicking things which the artist likes. Including his lifestyle into his works For 88TGU, it is like a work of art. It is like an experiment. Just like his own life, he likes to travel, find activities, find new things for his life to gain experience and learn. An artist compares life to creating art (Life is art), filling ignorance. Filled with life force, struggle, trial because life and things around like a vast laboratory.
Powerman represents the character created by 88TGU as a child with bright eyes and determination under the mask of the wrestler Lucha (Lucha Mask), which means prestige and honor.
"Mask protects the fighter's identity" protects the face from concealment, pretense, or maybe just for beauty. Masks also have many meanings. Including contexts that show wearing the spirit, wearing the identity of someone else or something else. And wearing it to hide, disguise, conceal one's identity, therefore, is an idiom that says "wearing a mask", which this idiom means a fake posture, attitude or behavior that is not a true habit. Including the heroes (Hero), the Sentai movement (Zentai) who have to wear masks to conceals the true power
The “Powerman” character is the person who conceals the hidden power that exists in everyone. Including the representation of fighters who defy fate,struggling everything, fighting, refusing to die, refusing to give up on destiny that even if there is only one in a million chance of survival remaining. Because he believes that great power is hidden may be the smallest part of the mind.
