นิทรรศการ หนังสือภาพถ่ายเยอรมันยอดเยี่ยม 2013
สถาบันเกอเธ่ ประเทศไทย ร่วมกับ หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร ขอเชิญชมนิทรรศการ หนังสือภาพถ่ายเยอรมันยอดเยี่ยม 2013 จะจัดแสดงในวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม - 24 พฤศจิกายน 2556 มีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2556 เวลา 18.30 น. ณ บริเวณโถงชั้น L และห้องสมุดศิลปะ หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร : bacc
นิทรรศการ หนังสือจากการประกวดหนังสือภาพถ่ายเยอรมันยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งโคจรกลับมาจัดแสดงที่กรุงเทพมหานครอีกครั้ง โดยจุดเด่นของปีนี้อยู่ที่หนังสือทั้ง 22 เล่มที่ชนะรางวัลระดับทอง และระดับเงิน จากการประกวดประจำปี 2013 รวมถึงหนังสือภาพถ่ายที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกจากคณะกรรมการอีกกว่า 100 เล่ม นิทรรศการครั้งนี้จึงเป็นการรวบรวมหนังสือภาพถ่ายที่โดดเด่นจากหลายสำนัก พิมพ์ที่มีชื่อเสียงในกลุ่มประเทศที่ใช้ภาษาเยอรมัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Kehrer, Steidl, Hatje Cantz และ Bentili
การประกวดหนังสือภาพถ่ายเยอรมันนี้ จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีมานานกว่า 30 ปี โดยสมาคมผู้จัดพิมพ์และผู้จำหน่ายหนังสือแห่งรัฐบาเดน วืร์ทเท็มแบร์ก ประเทศเยอรมนี โดยมีคณะกรรมการอิสระซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยผู้เชี่ยวชาญในวงการ เช่น ช่างภาพ นักเขียนคอลัมน์เฉพาะทาง และผู้จำหน่ายหนังสือภาพถ่าย โดยรางวัลจะแบ่งเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ หนังสือภาพถ่าย หนังสือที่ว่าด้วยทฤษฎีและประวัติศาสตร์การถ่ายภาพ และคู่มือสอนถ่ายภาพ

Once again that the touring exhibition “German Photo Book Award” has traveled all the way from Germany to make a one-month-‘stay’ in Bangkok. Together with the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, the Goethe-Institut Thailand is pleased to welcome everyone to have a close look at the 22 highlights, the “gold” and “silver” winners of the German Photo Book Award 2013. Besides the award-winning titles, over a hundred of nominated photo books are also exhibited. Outstanding photo books from renowned publishers in German-speaking countries such as “Kehrer”, “Steidl”, “Hatje Cantz” and “Bentili” are ready to be appreciated by every photo book lover!
The “German Photo Book Award” has been annually given by the Association of Publishers & Booksellers in Baden-Wuerttemberg for more than 30 years. Submitted Photo Books will be evaluated by an independent group of experts including photographers, specialised journalists and photo books sellers. The Award is given in three categories: photo books, books on theory and history of photography and text books on photography.

Die Ausstellung der mit dem „Deutschen Fotobuchpreis“ (DFP) ausgezeichneten Fotobücher kommt auch in diesem Jahr wieder nach Bangkok. Das Goethe-Institut Thailand und Bangkok Art and Culture Centre laden Sie herzlich ein, die 22 mit „Gold“ und „Silber“ prämierten Siegertitel des DFP 2013 und die über 100 nominierten Bücher in der Ausstellung anzuschauen. Außer den preisgekrönten Titeln erwarten sie auch Fotobildbände von renommierten Verlagen aus deutschsprachigen Ländern wie zum Beispiel Kehrer, Steidl, Hatje Cantz und Bentili.
Der deutsche Fotobuchpreis wird seit mehr als 30 Jahren alljährlich vom Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, Landesverband Baden Württemberg vergeben. Eine hochkarätig besetzte Jury aus Fotografen, Fachjournalisten und Fotobuchhändlern bewertet die eingereichten Fotobücher und vergibt die Preise in den Kategorien: Fotobildbände, Bücher zur Fotogeschichte und –theorie sowie Fotolehrbücher.
