นิทรรศการ "สว่างไสวไร้แสง : Content without Light" ผลงานโดย ธรรมรุจา ธรรมสโรช (Tamruja Dharmasaroja) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 27 เมษายน - 9 พฤษภาคม 2566 ณ Palette Artspace

'สว่างไสวไร้แสง'
นิทรรศการศิลปะที่พาผู้ชมเข้าไปสัมผัสและสำรวจแสงสว่างนวลตาของดาวเคราะห์น้อยใหญ่ ซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนผู้คนธรรมดาซึ่งทำงานตรากตรำอยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จของผู้อื่น
ท่ามกลางฟากฟ้าอันเต็มไปด้วยดาวฤกษ์ ยังมีความงามของดาวเคราะห์เล็กๆ คนตัวเล็กๆ ผู้กอปรให้สุริยจักรวาลสมบูรณ์ ชวนตั้งคำถามว่าสิทธิแรงงานของคนทำงานเบื้องหลัง สมควรผลักดันให้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีและมีศักดิ์ศรีเท่ากับอาชีพอื่นๆ ในสังคมหรือไม่ อย่างไร

'Content without Light'
is an art exhibition that invites you to explore the soft light of small planets that gravitate around the sun. They represent people who work tirelessly behind the scenes, under the shadow of others' success.
In the sky filled with shining stars, tiny planets and common citizens are the kind of beauty that complete the universe. As if they are questioning whether those behind the scenes should be respected, or treated as equally as other professions.

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
ธรรมรุจา ธรรมสโรช เป็นนักกิจกรรมที่ผลักดันประเด็นสังคมโดยใช้สื่อหลากหลายแขนง ได้แก่ ภาพยนตร์ วรรณกรรม และทัศนศิลป์ มีผลงานจัดแสดงทั้งในและต่างประเทศตั้งแต่ปี 2550 เป็นต้นมา ครอบคลุมประเด็นสิ่งแวดล้อม ส่งเสริมสุขภาวะ ปัญหาเกษตรกร ต่อต้านความรุนแรงในครอบครัว ต่อต้านการค้ามนุษย์ นิทรรศการล่าสุดนี้ส่งเสริมสิทธิแรงงานและสุขภาพจิต
จบการศึกษาปริญญาโทด้านผลิตภาพยนตร์และโทรทัศน์จากมหาวิทยาลัย บอร์นมัธ (เกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง) และปริญญาตรีด้านออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ เซ็นทรัล เซนต์ มาร์ติน คอลเลจ ออฟ อาร์ต แอนด์ ดีไซน์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปะลอนดอน (เกียรตินิยมอันดับสอง) ได้รับคัดเลือกเป็น Top 3 Finalist ศิษย์เก่าดีเด่นแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร ประจำปี 2566 โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษ และบริติช เคานซิล ประเทศไทย

About Artist
Tamruja Dharmasaroja is a transmedia activist who produces social development films, paints, as well as writes and performing poetry both in Thailand and internationally. She has used all her creative resources to raise awareness on environmental issues, public health, agriculture, anti-domestic violence, combatting human trafficking. Her latest art exhibition aims to raise awareness on labour rights and mental health.
Graduated MA Producing Film and TV with distinction from Bournemouth University and BA Product Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London. Recently a Top-3 Finalist of UK Alumni Award 2023, chosen by The British Embassy Bangkok and The British Council Thailand.
