นิทรรศการ "Ju Ju"

นิทรรศการ "Ju Ju" ผลงานโดย ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี (Thaweesak Srithongdee) หรือ โลเล (Lolay) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ - 25 มีนาคม 2566 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันศุกร์ที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 เวลา 18.30 น. ณ หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร : Art Centre Silpakorn University

"Ju Ju" นิทรรศการเดี่ยวโดย ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี (โลเล)

Ju Ju คือวลีสั้นๆที่อธิบายวรรคตอนของชีวิตโลเลอันอัดแน่นไปด้วยเรื่องราวต่างๆ ทั้งที่เป็นส่วนตัวและไกลออกจากตนเอง ผลงานศิลปะที่ปรากฏในนิทรรศการนี้คือการนำเรื่องราวชีวิตในแต่ละช่วงเวลามาคลุกเคล้าผสมด้วยแรงแห่งจินตนาการที่สดใหม่ร้อนระอุ และยังแตกหน่อทดลองออกไปยังศาสตร์อื่นๆที่สามารถสร้างความตื่นตาไปกับลายเส้นของโลเลได้อย่างสนุกสนาน

พื้นที่ทั้งหมดของนิทรรศการคือห้องทดลองทางศิลปะที่มีส่วนผสมหลักคือศิลปิน ครอบครัว เวลา สังคม และผู้ชม ที่เข้ามาช่วยเติมตัวแปรให้ผลลัพธ์ทางศิลปะมีความหลากหลายแตกหน่อไปจากลายเส้นจากจินตนาการของโลเล

โดยในนิทรรศการนี้ยังมีผลงานที่ร่วมสร้างสรรค์กับศิลปินในสื่ออื่นๆ ได้แก่ ชุบ นกแก้ว / กบ พงษ์ภาสกร กุลถิรธรรม / ข้าวโพด มัญชุมาศ นำเบญจพล / แฮม ฐาณิศร์ สินธารัตนะ

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี (โลเล) จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท จากคณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร (จิตรกรรม) มีผลงานเป็นที่รู้จักอย่างกว้างขวางในรูปแบบสื่อที่หลากหลาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม วีดีโอ งานออกแบบ ดนตรี จนถึงผลงานศิลปะในพื้นที่สาธารณะ มีผลงานแสดงนิทรรศการและเข้าร่วมเทศกาลศิลปะต่างๆ อาทิ Show Me Thai (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น The 3rd Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2005 ประเทศญี่ปุ่น Busan Biennale 2010 ประเทศเกาหลี

โลเลเป็นศิลปินผู้สร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะที่ระเบิดจินตนาการอย่างไร้ขอบเขตด้วยการเเสดงออกผ่านสื่อที่หลากหลาย ในทุกๆเส้นสายสานต่อบรรจงออกมาเป็นตัวละครในดินเเดนลึกลับล้วนชักชวนให้ค้นหาในซอกหลืบเเห่งความคิดจินตนาการที่ผสานกับชีวิตของโลเลที่สุดเเสนจะหยั่งถึง

The opening reception is on Friday 3 February 2023 at 6.30 pm at the Main Hall of the Art Centre, Silpakorn University (Wangthapra)

Exhibition will be on view from 3 February – 25 March 2023
Mon – Sat 9 am to 6 pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays)

Ju Ju, a solo exhibition by Thaweesak Srithongdee (Lolay)

Ju Ju is a short phrase used to describe the artist’s own life overflowing with stories that are personal and distant. The artworks displayed in this exhibition present each stage of life, blended with a force of imagination which is both fresh and burning and budding into other disciplines.  The result is Lolay’s unique lines which are both amusing and exciting.

All the space in this exhibition is a laboratory of art whose principal ingredients are the artist himself, family, time, society, and audience. These variables add variety to the artworks budding out of lines from Lolay’s imagination.

In this exhibition there are also collaborated artists from different media including Munchumart Numbenjapol, Chub Nokkaew, Kob B.O.R.E.D and Tanid Sintaratana.

About the artist
Thaweesak Srithongdee (Lolay) graduated with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University. His works appear in various forms namely, painting, sculpture, video, design, music, and art in public space. His works are displayed in various international art institutes and exhibitions, including Show Me Thai held at Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, the 3rd Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2005 in Japan, and Busan Biennale 2010 in South Korea.

Lolay creates art works which explode with boundless imagination conveyed through a wide variety of mediums. Every line is masterfully put together to create characters in mysterious lands, encouraging the audience to investigate into every nook and cranny of imagination blended with the artist’s own personal life.
