นิทรรศการ "Silence Wind, Invisible Waves" ผลงานโดย รุจน์ ไกรกาญจน์ (Ruj Greigarn) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2565 - 8 มกราคม 2566 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2565 เวลา 19.00 น. ณ WTF Gallery and Café

The Silence Wind, Invisible Waves is an exhibition portraying the occupancy of chaos, influence, and possession within the showcase area. It is the fundamental concept of which Ruj Greigarn initiates equality towards perception and sensation by deeply examining power and violence amidst political, economic, and social changes. While those various forms of power and domination are invisible, internalising oppression causes emotional contagion among people. Characteristics that appear in the art pieces are inspired by the act of drawing/painting/scratching on the surface as a form of expression when one attempts to get something off the chest. Another interpretation behind the artistic characteristic is closely related to how they are viewed as a form of resistance, questioning, interrogating, and demolishing the cult of personality or the cult of a leader. What has been successfully made to create an idealised image of God-King by authorities in Thailand is also within the scope.

Ruj began his experimental painting from 2021-2022 to investigate and record violent scenes from various sources. He has sought to understand the original moment of the events and to shed light on the new possibility of criticism, including the new way to express political beliefs. He uses printmaking, photographs, and installation art as forms of expression to achieve "Freedom," what he truly believes exists. These mediums and elements appearing throughout the exhibition consist of story-telling and the artist's experiences from the artist. Ruj, as a human and a national citizen, has his right and voice like everyone else in a place where our voices are less than the wind. Weak and meaningless. Ruj believes that his creations shall create continuous effects on the past awareness of the people towards the acts of violence in the nation — where the same groups of power holders repeatedly hand people cruelty.

Silence Wind, Invisible Waves คือ พื้นที่ที่ถูกยึดครองด้วยความโกลาหล อิทธิพล ความเป็นเจ้าของ ที่รุจน์ ไกรกาญจน์ นำเสนอความเสมอภาคทางการรับรู้และความรู้สึก ด้วยการสำรวจอำนาจและความรุนแรงท่ามกลางสภาวการณ์ในสังคม การเมือง และเศรษฐกิจที่เปลี่ยนไป รวมไปถึงมวลอารมณ์ของประชาชน ที่อยู่ใต้การเคลื่อนไหวของอำนาจที่มองไม่เห็น รวมถึงสัญญะบางอย่างที่ประชาชนใช้เป็นการตอบโต้ ตั้งคำถาม เเละ รื้อถอน ต่อลัทธิบูชาบุคคล รวมถึงความเชื่อในความเป็นสมมติเทพที่ปรากฏในประเทศไทย

ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2564-2565 รุจน์เริ่มต้นสำรวจและบันทึกความรุนแรงผ่านผลงานจิตรกรรมเชิงทดลอง (Experimental painting) จากข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจเหตุการณ์และความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ของการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ และแนวทางการแสดงออกถึงจุดยืนทางการเมืองของศิลปิน ในพื้นที่นี้ (ประเทศไทย) ผู้อยู่อาศัย คือ คน/ร่าง ที่ถูกควบคุมและบงการโดยไม่อาจเคลื่อนขยับร่างกายได้ ความอึดอั้นของร่างใต้ปกครองจึงเซาะแซะหาช่องทางออกมาเป็นผลงานรูปแบบอื่น ๆ อีกด้วย เช่น ภาพพิมพ์ ภาพถ่าย และศิลปะจัดวาง เป็นต้น การศึกษากลวิธีการสื่อสารที่หลากหลายนี้ อาจช่วยทลายเขตแดนจากผู้คนสู่เสรีภาพที่รุจน์ "เชื่ออย่างยิ่งว่า" มีอยู่จริง ในฐานะประชาชนและมนุษย์ ที่มี 1 สิทธิและเสียงเหมือนทุก ๆ คน แต้ในพื้นที่นี้เสียงของประชาชนคนหนึ่งเปล่งออกมาเบากว่าลมที่พัดผ่านเสียอีก ในนิทรรศการนี้รุจน์เชื่อว่าจะสร้างแรงกระตุ้นเตือนและต่อเนื่องกับกระบวนการตระหนักรู้ทางอดีตของประชาชนทุกคน
