“Cross Over” is an art group that organizes international exhibitions and art fairs that was established by Peddy Pot (Yashiro Hiroyuki), a graphic artist and exhibitor who has been showcasing his works at international exhibitions in Southeast and East Asia. “CROSS OVER” aims to open the doors for artists from various genres, such as graphic designers, painters, performers, photographers, etc., to exhibit in international art exhibitions that are mainly hosted in Asian countries.

The meaning of “Cross Over” is the intersection where artworks from various styles and the visitors can come together and interact in international art exhibitions, through which all participants will be able to expand their perspectives and obtain new values.

The reason why we concentrate in Asia is because it is easy to reach from Japan and because artists will be able to immerse themselves in the vitality of each region, where development has been rapidly progressing, something that cannot be experienced in Japan at present. This, in turn, is expected to influence the way artists think and enable them to work in a more flexible way and at a faster speed.

In addition, we would like to encourage artists not to be complacent with their current environments, and to understand that they can also work in other countries and regions through exhibitions. We believe that this will be a boost for artists to expand their scope of activities in the future.

There has been an increase in the number of people who are interested in Japanese culture and art, and many of the visitors to our exhibitions were surprised to know that there are so many interesting Japanese creators and artists who are yet to be discovered. We wish to contribute in revealing a part of Japan to the world through our activities.

Currently, we have been organizing exhibitions in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Myanmar. The range of our activities have been expanding and there are members who mentioned that they could exhibit in international art fairs and participate in art exhibitions in foreign countries because of Cross Over.

We wish to contribute to our exhibitors and visitors, no matter how small, through our exhibitions and other activities in the future.

We promise to bring good results through our future activities!
