นิทรรศการ "In search of other times: reminiscence of things collected" นิทรรศการเฉลิมฉลองการเปิดตัวของ JWD Art Space จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2562 – 29 กุมภาพันธ์ 2563 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2562 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ JWD Art Space

GRAND OPENING OF JWD ART SPACE

To celebrate the launch of JWD Art Space, First Fine Art Storage & Logistics solutions in Thailand that provide the full inclusive service, process of shipping, documenting, advising and handling of Arts under the supervision of expertise. The Art Space open for every art exhibition held by local and international artists with an attempt to transform the place into a regional art center and networking platform for the contemporary art ecosystem.

JWD Art Space is proud to present our inaugural exhibition 'In search of other times: reminiscence of things collected', selected artworks, artifacts, and objects from private collectors based in Thailand. The exhibition displays one-of-a-kind curiosities, rarefied historical artifacts, and progressive, modern, and contemporary artworks altogether. These items could be perceived as a symbolic representation of our cultures’ progression, as well as a hallmark of the spirit of their times. The curatorial approach aims to create a new dialogue between groundbreaking objects and artworks, to open up new interpretations on how to view and read these objects. The intertwined notions of aesthetic, cultural and historical values in this exhibition make it a place of knowledge, a place to wander around with pleasure, a space to search for other times.

พิธีเปิดเป็นทางการของ JWD Art Space
เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองการเปิดตัวของ JWD Art Space ศูนย์รวมที่สุดแห่งระบบการจัดเก็บงานศิลปะ ให้คำปรึกษา และบริการครบวงจรเกี่ยวกับศิลปะร่วมสมัยอย่างที่ไม่เคยมีใครทำมาก่อนในประเทศไทย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เป็นพื้นที่สำหรับจัดนิทรรศการศิลปะทุกรูปแบบ ทั้งจากศิลปินในประเทศไทยและสากล โดยมุ่งหวังให้เป็นศูนย์ศิลปะระดับภูมิภาค ทั้งยังเป็นพื้นที่ในการสร้างและขยับขยายเครือข่ายศิลปะร่วมสมัยทั้งในและนอกภูมิภาค

JWD Art Space มีความยินดีขอเชิญท่านร่วมเปิดนิทรรศการแรก 'In search of other times: reminiscence of things collected' ซึ่งจัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะและวัตถุสะสมจากกลุ่มนักสะสมที่พำนักในประเทศไทย นิทรรศการนำเสนอชุดของสะสมคัดสรร วัตถุทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่หาดูได้ยากอันสะท้อนความก้าวหน้าแห่งยุคสมัย ผสมผสานกับงานศิลปะสมัยใหม่และร่วมสมัยไว้ด้วยกัน วัตถุจัดแสดงเหล่านี้เป็นตัวแทนของการขยับขยายเคลื่อนย้ายทางวัฒนธรรม และนำเสนอจิตวิญญาณของช่วงเวลานั้นๆ การสร้างบทสนทนาระหว่างวัตถุกับงานศิลปะเพื่อเปิดให้เกิดการตีความใหม่ ทั้งการชมและการอ่านวัตถุเหล่านี้ จึงเป็นประเด็นสำคัญในการคัดสรรของนิทรรศการ การผสานขององค์ประกอบทางสุนทรียะตลอดจนคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมและประวัติศาสตร์ จะร่วมกันเสริมสร้างให้นิทรรศการนี้เป็นดังพื้นที่แห่งความรู้ อันเชื้อเชิญเกิดความเพลิดเพลิน ทั้งยังเป็นพื้นที่แห่งการเสาะแสวงหาช่วงเวลาที่แตกต่างออกไป
