นิทรรศการศิลปะ “อดีตพุทธเจ้า : The Buddhas of The Past” ผลงานโดย รศ.ดร. ฉลองเดช คูภานุมาต (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalongdej Khuphanumat) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน - 26 ธันวาคม 2562 ณ อาคาร 6 พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ หอศิลป ถนนเจ้าฟ้า : The National Gallery

พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ หอศิลป ขอเชิญชมนิทรรศการศิลปะ “อดีตพุทธเจ้า” (The Buddhas of The Past) โดย ศิลปิน รศ.ดร. ฉลองเดช คูภานุมาต จัดแสดงตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน ถึงวันที่ 26 ธันวาคม 2562 ณ อาคาร 6 พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ หอศิลป

นิทรรศการ “อดีตพุทธเจ้า” เป็นนิทรรศการที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นโดยแรงบันดาลใจจากคุณค่าและความหมายของแนวคิดเชิงสัญลักษณ์ที่สื่อถึงอดีตพุทธเจ้า ที่เคยรุ่งเรืองและโดดเด่นอยู่ในงานพุทธศิลป์ล้านนา นำมาตีความและสร้างความหมายตลอดจนถ่ายทอดจินตนาการผ่านชุดผลงานศิลปะในรูปแบบจัดวาง (Installation) จำนวน 3 ชุด

ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ ศิลปินต้องการนำเสนอความหมายว่าด้วยแนวคิดเชิงสัญลักษณ์ เรื่อง อดีตพุทธเจ้า ซึ่งมีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธเจ้าในอดีต ดังปรากฏหลักฐานในวรรณกรรมทางพุทธศาสนาและงานพุทธศิลป์ อาทิ อดีตพุทธเจ้า จำนวน 4 พระองค์ 24 พระองค์ 27 พระองค์ และจำนวนนับไม่ถ้วน (อนันตพุทธเจ้า) ซึ่งมีเรื่องราวเกี่ยวข้องกับพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าในภัทรกัลป์ปัจจุบัน โดยการเลือกสรรแนวคิดเชิงสัญลักษณ์อันเกี่ยวเนื่องกับงานพุทธศิลป์ในวัฒนธรรมล้านนา ได้แก่ แนวคิดจากพุทธธรรม จักรวาลวิทยา (ไตรภูมิ) มหาปุริสลักษณะ สัญลักษณ์ดอกบัว รอยพระพุทธบาท และฉัพพรรณรังสี นำมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นผลงานศิลปะร่วมสมัย ในรูปแบบสื่อผสม (Mixed Media) และรูปแบบศิลปะจัดวาง (Installation) อันมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตน สะท้อนมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม วิธีคิดและผลิตผลทางพุทธิปัญญาแห่งวิถีพุทธ

The National Gallery of Thailand cordially invite those who interest in contemporary art (Installation/Mixed media) to view a solo art exhibition entitled “The Buddhas of The Past” by an artist (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalongdej Khuphanumat) which exhibits during November 16 to December 26, 2019.

Contemporary Arts Exhibition “The Buddhas of The Past” is a synthesis of the body of knowledge related to the Buddhas of the past in Lan Na Buddhist Art in order to arrive at an interpretation and guidelines for contemporary art creation. The Artist applied the knowledge gained from the study to form an inspiration in creating contemporary arts as a result of the interpretation of the symbol of all the Buddhist devotees. Moreover, the creative outcome or achievement of the study could serve as a kind of arts media reflecting the profound meaning of the Buddhist Dharma.

The National Gallery of Thailand opens from Wednesday – Sunday between 9.00 am. – 4.00 pm. Closed on Monday and Tuesday
