นิทรรศการ บ้าตาม...แวนโก๊ะ ผลงานโดย บุญชัย บุญญานุรักษ์ ด้วยความสนใจในงานศิลปะ “บุญชัย บุญญานุรักษ์” จึงทุ่มเทเวลาศึกษาศิลปะด้วยตนเอง ด้วยการฝึกฝนปฏิบัติมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง จริงจังและปฏิบัติเพิ่มมากขึ้นทุกๆ วัน “อิมเพรสชันนิสม์” (impressionism) เป็นแนวทางที่บุญชัยสนใจศึกษามาตลอด และลุง “แวนโก๊ะ”(van Gogh) ก็เข้ามาอยู่ในสายเลือดโดยไม่รู้ตัว “ลุงโก๊ะ” จึงเป็นศิลปินในดวงใจคนหนึ่งในเส้นทาง “อิมเพรสชันนิสม์” ผลงานหลายๆ ชิ้นที่วาดขึ้น จะ “ถูก” เพื่อนๆ ทักว่ามีแนวทางคล้ายๆ ไปทาง “ลุงโก๊ะ” ซึ่งน่าจะเกิดขึ้นจากการศึกษาจากตำรา และประทับใจในผลงานของ“ลุงโก๊ะ”จนซึมซาบเข้าไปในจิตวิญญาณนั่นเอง 
ผลงานที่นำมาแสดงครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่แสดงตัวตนของบุญชัย บุญญานุรักษ์ ที่ได้รับเอาอิทธิพลจาก “ลุงโก๊ะ” เต็มๆ 
ทุกภาพวาดจากสถานที่จริง ยกเว้นภาพ “ลุงโก๊ะ” ซึ่งวาดจากตำรา ด้วยจิตที่ตั้งใจวาดเพื่อบูชา “ครู” โดยแท้

Frenziedly inspired by Van Gogh by Boonchai Boonyanurak

Concept of the Exhibition
In pursuit of his interest in art, Boonchai Boonyanurak has devoted his time in learning art through regular self-practice that has become more profound each day.
Impressionism is the style which Boonchai has been passionate in exploring and “Uncle Gogh” (Van Gogh) has unknowingly become his main influence and one of his fondest Impressionists.
Most of his artworks were remarked by his friends to resemble those of Van Gogh’s, possibly because his study and personal admiration for Van Gogh have incorporated into his spirit.
Boonchai’s works displayed in the exhibition portray his style that has a direct influence from Van Gogh. All pictures were drawn from actual locations except the picture of Van Gogh that was drawn from a book with a truthful intention to honour his “teacher”.
