นิทรรศการ "โอปุส : Opus"
นิทรรศการ "โอปุส : Opus" ผลงานโดย ทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์ (Taweesak Ujugatanond) จแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 15 มิถุนายน - 13 กรกฎาคม 2562 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2562 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ ARTIST+RUN
ARTIST+RUN และ Taweesak Ujugatanond ขอเรียนเชิญทุกท่านร่วมงานเปิดนิทรรศการผลงานจิตรกรรมชุดใหม่ล่าสุดของ ทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์ 'OPUS' ในวันเสาร์ที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2562 ที่ ARTIST+RUN (ถนนนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ซอย 22, N22)
...โอปุส คืองานจิตรกรรมที่กลั่นกรองจากวิถีชีวิตและวินัยในชีวิตประจำวันของผม ในการทำงานศิลปะผมชอบเดินไปในดินแดนที่ไม่เคยไป เดินไปในความไม่รู้ ทดลอง ค้นหา ค้นคว้า หมกมุ่น ทั้งลองทำซํ้าๆ และลองทำต่าง ออกจากความคุ้นเคย และออกจากรูปแบบเดิม ดำรงอยู่กับเส้น สี แรงเหวี่ยง ร่องรอย ที่ซ้อน ทั้งความเคลื่อนไหว และความสงบนิ่ง โครงสร้างความคิดในงาน โอปุส คือ ความยอกย้อน ของสภาวะสิ่งคู่ของสีและเส้นที่เคลื่อนไหวไปมาทั้งภาพที่บางภาพอาจฝังเส้นไว้เป็นหมื่น เป็นแสนเส้นแต่ดูเหมือนการก่อตัวที่ใหภาพรวม อันสงบ และเป็นมิตรเป็นความยุ่งเหยิง ที่ค่อยๆสร้างระเบียบรอยเขรอะ เปะปะ ของสี ค่อยๆ สร้างความรู้สึกเชิงบวก สดชื่น หอมหวาน สุภาพ อ่อนโยน
โอปุส คือ ความเคลื่อนไหวที่สงบนิ่ง หรือ คือ ความนิ่งสงบในความเคลื่อนไหว การทำงานชุดนี้ คือ การทำความรู้จักตนเองและการมองความเป็นไปของโลก ไปพร้อมๆกันเป็นการภาวนาเพื่อความสงบ ในโลกที่ดิ้นรน วุ่นวาย สับสน และเต็มไปด้วยความเบียดเบียน โอปุส เลยเหมือน เกาะแห่งความสงบ ท่ามกลางโลกที่เต็มไปด้วยเสียงตระโกน
ในชีวิตชีวิตหนึ่ง ถ้ามีสิ่งหนึ่งสิ่งใดที่ทำได้ และทำได้ดี ก็คือ การทำงานศิลปะให้ดีที่สุด เป็นของกำนัลแด่โลก ทุกงานคือลมหายใจ การอุทิศทุ่มเท ความมุ่งมั่นพากเพียร คุณค่าและความหมายของชีวิตสะท้อนผ่านงานทั้งหมดคือ ส่วนสร้าง โอปุส

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
ทวีศักดิ์ อุชุคตานนท์ เกิดเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2513 ที่จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ศึกษาศิลปะที่คณะมัณฑนศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ก่อนจะไปศึกษาต่อกับศิลปินแห่งชาติ อาจารย์เฟื้อ หริทักษ์ หลังจากนั้นเดินทางเข้าพำนักยังหมู่บ้านพลัม ประเทศฝรั่งเศส และไปยังสหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อศึกษาด้าน Anthroposophy ที่ Sunbridge College ก่อนจะกลับมาแสดงผลงานศิลปะครั้งแรกที่ประเทศไทย ในปี พ.ศ. 2542 ปัจจุบันเป็นศิลปินอิสระOpus
Is the refinement of my way of life and discipline.When I paint, I always like to walk to a new realm I didn’t know before. Walking amidst the unknown, it’s a new experiment, searching and concentrating; both repeated and made different from familiarity and trying to break the old pattern.
I lived with the overlapping movement and calmness of lines, colours, strokes and clues.
The paradox of colours and lines is the main thought of Opus. In most pictures, there are from ten thousand up to a hundred thousand chaotic lines, but they create a mood of peace and friendship. The chaos of lines and colours built a feeling of positivity, freshness, fragrance, politeness and gentleness.
Opus is the calm movement or the calm in the movement.
Opus made me understand my inner self and outer world at the same time. This work is like a peace mediation in a world of chaos, struggle and persecution.
Opus is like an island of peace amid a world of shouting.
In my life, the best thing for me is painting. My paintings are a gift to the world. They are my breath, gratitude and perseverance. The value and meaning of my life is reflected through my paintings. All of these factors created Opus.

About the artist
Taweesak Ujugatanond was born in 1970 in Nakhon Sawan. He graduated Art at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University before continuing study with the national artist, Fua Haripitak. Thereafter he traveled to live in Plum Village, France and then went to the United States to study Anthroposophy at Sunbridge College. His first art exhibition was since 1999. Currently, He is an independent artist.
