ภาพสั้น
จิตรกรรมของผมเป็นภาษาแห่งการเล่าเรื่อง (narrative) ที่มีลักษณะบางประการคล้ายกันกับ “เรื่องสั้น” (prose fiction) ที่มักจะมีเหตุการณ์หลักเพียงเหตุการณ์เดียว โครงเรื่องเดียว ฉากเดียว จำนวนละครเพียงไม่กี่ตัว และมีระยะเวลาตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบเรื่องไม่นานนัก ซึ่งมักจบแบบพลิกความคาดหมายหรือจบแบบทิ้งคำถามล่องลอยไว้ให้เราขบคิด

เช่นเดียวกับเรื่องสั้น จิตรกรรมเป็นสิ่งที่ต้อง “อ่าน” เพื่อรับสาร แตกต่างกันเพียงภาษาที่ใช้ ซึ่งภาษาของจิตรกรรมนั้นคือภาพ (Image) ภาพที่ผมสร้างขึ้น มาจากการพยายามจัดระเบียบของความไร้ระเบียบของชีวิต เป็นการ “สรุป” เหตุการณ์และประสบการณ์ที่กระจัดกระจาย ไร้ทิศทางของตนเอง เป็นการเล่าเรื่องของตัวเองให้ตัวเองฟังอีกครั้ง ภาพต่างๆถูกสร้างขึ้นจากการ “ปรุงแต่ง” ความทรงจำของตนเอง เป็นความจริงที่เกิดขึ้นในโลกของเรื่องเล่าของผม งานนิทรรศการจิตรกรรมของผมจึงคล้ายกับหนังสือรวมเรื่องสั้นหนึ่งเล่ม ที่มีเรื่องเล่าหลากหลาย จิตรกรรมแต่ละชิ้นมีเนื้อหาที่แยกออกจากกัน แต่มีจุดมุ่งหมายร่วมกันคือ การค้นหา “ความหมาย”บางอย่าง จากความทรงจำและประสบการณ์ต่างๆ ของความเป็นมนุษย์ของตนเอง

จิตรกรรมแต่ละชิ้นในนิทรรศการนี้มีความงามและความหมายเป็นของตัวเอง ในฐานะภาพๆหนึ่ง ผมอยากเชื้อเชิญคุณให้เข้ามา “อ่าน” ความงามและความหมายเหล่านี้ที่จะพาคุณเดินทางไปในโลกของเรื่องเล่าซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ที่มันดำรงอยู่ สถานที่ที่ทำให้คุณล่องลอยไปในคำถามและการค้นหาคำตอบ เป็นสถานที่ซึ่งคุณมีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างคุณค่าและความหมายขึ้นมาใหม่ เป็นสถานที่ซึ่งเป็นอย่างที่คุณปรารถนา ผมเป็นเพียงผู้เชื่อมโยงคุณและโลกแห่งเรื่องเล่าเหล่านี้เท่านั้นเอง

Narrative Images
My painting is a narrative language that has some characteristics similar to "short stories" (prose fiction) that often have only one main event. Single storyline, one scene, only a few plays. And there is a short period from the beginning to the end of the story. Which often ends up turning expectations or ending the question, drifting for us to ponder.

As well as short stories, Painting is something that must be "read" to receive substances differ only in the language used. The language of the painting is the “image”. The image I created from trying to organize the lawlessness of life is a "summary" of events and scattered experiences without direction. To tell myself about myself again. Various images are created from "garnishing" my own memories. This is the truth that happened in the world of my narratives. My painting exhibition is similar to a collection of short stories with many stories. Each painting has separate content but the common purpose is to find some "meaning" from memories and experiences of my own humanity.

Each painting in this exhibition has its own beauty and meaning. As an image, I want to invite you to "read" these beauty and meanings that will take you on a journey to the world of narrative, which is where it exists. A place that makes you float in questions and find answers. A place where you are involved in creating new value and meaning. A place that is what you desire. I only serve to connect you and the world of these narratives.
