นิทรรศการ "นภากาศ  : Shape of Heaven" ผลงานโดย ห่มสวรรค์ อู่ม่านทรัพย์ (Home-Sawan Umansap) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 4 - 25 พฤษภาคม 2562 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2562 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ Number 1 Gallery : นัมเบอร์ วัน แกลเลอรี่

The exhibition “Shape of Heaven” by Home-Sawan Umansap is the first exhibition of the artist with Number 1 Gallery. The Khonkaen born artist is well familiar with northeastern culture. In this exhibition he tried to express the story of hope and happiness in his mind that he saved from his personal experience and turned it into a heaven that created from the beliefs of his society.

The artist uses the color pencil technique that will always be seen as the “basic” technique that is always easy just like the happiness around us that were always neglected to tell us that we can create the quality life without putting ourselves into the chaos of the society. The artist then create this vision in Thai-contemporary style through the color pencil technique. The artist took things that he found on his daily life in northeastern culture such as groceries, people, and also the local beliefs as his inspiration of the work and inserted complexity of Thai culture mixed with simplicity of the color pencils to create the whole new meaning by using the shape of heaven from his own perspective.

Home-Sawan Umansap graduated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the faculty of Thai Fine and Applied Arts, Silpakorn University and currently studying on his doctoral degree. Home-Sawan has been in many solo exhibitions such as “Super Natural” in Singapore, “Hom Glai” in Bangkok, and also the 30th Bualuang Art Exhibition. Moreover, the artist received an honor from many Art activities and events and most importantly, he was the part of the biggest art exhibition in Thailand which is Bangkok Art Biennale under the exhibition named “Beyond Bliss” at One Bangkok.

นิทรรศการ “นภากาศ” โดย ห่มสวรรค์ อู่ม่านทรัพย์ นับว่าเป็นนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกกับนัมเบอร์วันแกลลอรี่ ห่มสวรรค์ ศิลปินจากจังหวัดขอนแก่น มีความคุ้นเคยวัฒนธรรมแนวพื้นถิ่นอีสานเป็นอย่างดี ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ ศิลปินนำเสนอเรื่องราว ความหวังและความสุขความดีงามในจิตใจที่ได้บันทึกไว้เป็นประสบการณ์ เป็นบทคัดย่อทางจิตวิญญาณ ซึ่งส่วนตัวของศิลปินนั้น เกิดเป็นภาพของสวรรค์ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นจากความเชื่อของสังคม

ศิลปินได้เลือกใช้เทคนิคสีไม้ ที่มักจะถูกมองว่าเป็นเพียงการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในขั้นพื้นฐาน เปรียบเหมือนความสุขใกล้ตัวที่เรามักจะมองข้ามไป เจตนาเพื่อสื่อถึงคุณภาพชีวิตที่เราสร้างได้ โดยไม่ต้องแสวงหาไปตามความวุ่นวายของสังคม ศิลปินจึงได้สร้างโลกทัศน์ในรูปแบบไทยร่วมสมัยถ่ายทอดผ่านรูปแบบจิตรกรรมสีไม้ ด้วยวิถีชีวิตที่ผูกพันกับวัฒนธรรมพื้นถิ่นอีสาน ศิลปินจึงหยิบยกสิ่งที่พบเห็นจากวิถีชีวิตประจำวัน อาทิ ข้าวของเครื่องใช้ ผู้คน ตลอดจน นิทาน และคติความเชื่อพื้นบ้าน ด้วยการนำเอาความซับซ้อนที่งดงามของรูปแบบไทยประเพณีและความเรียบง่ายของเทคนิคสีไม้ ตีความหมายใหม่ผ่านรูปทรงของสวรรค์ในมุมมองของศิลปินเอง โดยรักษาความดีงามและอุดมคติคงไว้ดังเดิม

ห่มสวรรค์ อู่ม่านทรัพย์ จบศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท สาขาศิลปะไทย ณ คณะจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม และภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ทั้งปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโทและปัจจุบัน กําลังศึกษาต่อในระดับดุษฎีบัณฑิต ห่มสวรรค์ ได้เข้าร่วมแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะกลุ่มและนิทรรศการเดี่ยวมากมาย เช่นนิทรรศการ “พลังเหนือธรรมชาติ” ที่ M Gallery ประเทศสิงคโปร์, นิทรรศการ “หอมไกล” พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติหอศิลปเจ้าฟ้า กรุงเทพ และร่วมแสดง นิทรรศการจิตรกรรมบัวหลวง ครั้งที่ 30 นอกจากกนี้ ศิลปินยังได้รับเกียรติประวัติ จากกิจกรรมด้านศิลปะกับสังคม ,ผลงานเชิงวิชาการเชิงศิลปะและสุนทรียศาสตร์อื่นๆ อีกมากมาย และยังได้เข้าร่วมเทศกาลศิลปะครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ของประเทศไทยอย่าง Bangkok art biennale ภายใต้ชื่อ นิทรรศการ "สุขสะพรั่ง พลังอาร์ต" ที่ One Bangkok กรุงเทพมหานคร
