นิทรรศการจิตรกรรม "กายวิภาคของความเงียบ : ผลสืบเนื่อง (Anatomy of Silence : Sequence)" ผลงานโดย พชร ปิยะทรงสุทธิ์ (Pachara Piyasongsoot) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 8 ธันวาคม - 20 ธันวาคม 2561 ณ ARTIST+RUN

อาร์ตทีสรัน มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะนำเสนอนิทรรศการจิตรกรรม ภาคหลัง ‘กายวิภาคของความเงียบ(ผลสืบเนื่อง)' โดย พชร ปิยะทรงสุทธิ์’ จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 8 ธันวาคม - 20 ธันวาคม 2561

“พชร เขียนภาพความตายอันเกี่ยวข้องกับวิกฤตการเมืองที่ต่อเนื่องมาจากบทโหมโรงที่นาบัว แม้สงครามเย็นจะจบไปสามสิบกว่าปีแล้ว แต่ความขัดแย้งในการเมืองไทยอันเป็นปัญหาที่หยั่งรากอยู่ในโครงสร้างชนชั้นทางสังคมและสิ่งที่เรียกว่า “ความมั่นคงของชาติ” ยังดำรงอยู่จิตรกรรมชุดนี้ว่าด้วยบางเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2519, 2549 และ 2553 ...

... กายวิภาคของความเงียบ เสนอโครงสร้างของความเงียบในสังคมไทยผ่านหมุดหมายต่างๆในประวัติศาสตร์การเมืองแต่จิตรกรรมไม่ใช่และไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นบันทึกเหตุการณ์อันตรงไปตรงมา ในที่นี้การแสดงความคารวะและรำลึกถึงบรรดาผู้จากไปของศิลปินปรากฏขึ้นผ่านการภาพให้ร่องรอยต่างๆ อาจปราศจากเป้าหมายในการสร้างผลสะเทือนอันยิ่งใหญ่ แต่สิ่งที่ศิลปะให้ได้และให้เสมอมาคือข้อครวญคิดและการชี้ชวนให้ทบทวน เมื่อความหมายก่อตัวขึ้นในใจ ผู้ชมก็กลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเสียงต้านความเงียบ และเมื่อนั้น บางมิติของอดีตก็อาจขับเน้นให้วิกฤตของปัจจุบันชัดเจนขึ้น”-ธนาวิ โชติประดิษฐ

พชร ปิยะทรงสุทธิ์ เกิดปี 2528 ที่กรุงเทพฯ จบมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่โรงเรียนบดินทรเดชา (สิงห์ สิงหเสนี) ๒ และสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี (ภาพพิมพ์) ที่คณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร

ARTIST+RUN is pleased to announce a painting exhibition Anatomy of Silence: Sequence is on display between December 8 - December 20, 2018.

“Pachara Piyasongsoot created paintings about deaths that relate to the political crisis after the prelude at Nabua. Even though the Cold War had ended over 30 years earlier, there remain political conflicts in Thailand, rooted in the hierarchical structure of Thai society and the so-called problem of “national security”. This series of paintings deals with incidents which occurred in 1976, 2006 and 2010 …
… The Anatomy of Silence presents the structure of silence in Thai society through various political incidents. Nevertheless, a painting is not, and never needs to be, a faithful record of historical events. Here, Piyasongsoot pays homage and commemorates political victims by painting traces of their stories. Art may not aim to change society, but what art has always offered are moments of contemplation and revision. When meaning is formed in one’s mind, one becomes part of a resistance to silence, and then, some dimensions of the past may shed light on present crises.”

Pachara Piyasongsoot was born in Bangkok in 1985. He graduated high school at Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) 2 School and studied at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University.

Anatomy of Silence: Sequence, Exhibition opening and book launched with artists talk by Thanavi Chotpradit and Pachara Piyasongsoot on 8th December, 2018 at 6 pm
