Superbarbara เป็นผลงานแอนนิเมชั่นของบุญศรี ตั้งตรงสิน เปิดตัวครั้งแรกในนิทรรศการ Nouva {Arte} Povera ที่ Osage Gallery ฮ่องกง และ หอศิลปมหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ ในปี พ.ศ. 2555 และเพิ่มอีก 2 ตอนในเทศกาลสิงคโปร์เบียนนาเล่ ในปี พ.ศ. 2556 ซึ่งผลงานได้รับการยอมรับและสะสมโดยพิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะสิงคโปร์ (Singapore Art Museum)

Superbarbara ตุ๊กตายางตกรุ่นที่เป็นตัวแทนของเครื่องมือทางเพศถูกนำเสนอใหม่ผ่านสามัญสำนึกของมนุษย์คนหนึ่งที่มีเรื่องราวต่างๆ ผ่านเข้ามา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความพยายามทำตัวให้เป็นประโยชน์ การถูกคุกคาม รวมถึงเรื่องราวอื่นๆ

Superbarbara is an animation of Boonsri Tangtrongsin, first shown at Nouva {Arte} Povera exhibition at Osage Gallery in Hong Kong and Bangkok University Gallery (BUG) in 2012. Two more series were exhibited at the Singapore Biennale 2013, which are collected by Singapore Art Museum (SAM).

Superbarbara is an obsolete inflatable doll (Barbara), represents a new genre of sexual implement through a common sense of human who has come through various situations, including trying to be useful, being abused, and so on.

Bangkok University Gallery is pleased to present “Superbarbara: First and Foremost” by Boonsri Tangtrongsin, which gathers 13 animation VDOs, including “Superbarbara: The Beginning”, the latest series.
