นิทรรศการ "SYNC artist-in-residence 2017" ผลงานโดย ปุญญิศา ศิลปรัศมี (Punyisa Silparassamee) และ อัมรู ไทยสนิท (Amru Thaisnit) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม - 30 กันยายน 2561 ณ ชั้น 1 อาคารนิทรรศการหลัก หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร (วังท่าพระ)

นำเสนอกิจกรรมและนิทรรศการ จากโครงการศิลปินในพำนัก SYNC artist-in-residence 2017

โครงการศิลปินในพำนัก SYNC artist-in-residence 2017 เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างหอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และ เดอ ลาแป อาร์ทสเปซ จังหวัดนราธิวาส เพื่อคัดเลือกศิลปินร่วมสมัยไม่จำกัดสาขาการสร้างสรรค์ ให้ไปพำนักและทำงานร่วมกับศิลปินในพื้นที่ ณ จังหวัดนราธิวาส เป็นเวลา 1 เดือน และเมื่อสิ้นสุดระยะเวลาพำนัก จึงนำผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของศิลปินทั้งสองมาจัดแสดง

พาไปสำรวจวิธีคิด วิธีสร้าง วิธีแสดง และแบ่งปันศิลปะกับผู้อื่น และชวนคุยในประเด็น“จากกรุงเทพฯ สู่ นราฯ” กรณีศึกษา โครงการ SYNC artist-in-residence 2017 in Narathiwat ร่วมรับฟังประสบการณ์ การทำความรู้จัก เรียนรู้ ผู้คนและพื้นที่ในสายตาคนนอกพื้นที่เป็นอย่างไร

sync หรือ synchronize คือ การเชื่อมโยง เชื่อมต่อ เป็นหนึ่งเดียวกัน ไปในทางเดียวกัน เปรียบได้กับ การเชื่อมโยงสองวัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างกัน การเรียนรู้ซึ่งกันและกัน ผ่านการแลกเปลี่ยนและแบ่งปันมุมมองและประสบการณ์ระหว่างศิลปินจากสองพื้นที่ เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจในการอยู่ร่วมกันท่ามกลางความแตกต่าง

การเดินทางไปยังที่ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยและอยู่ท่ามกลางวัฒนธรรมที่ไม่คุ้นชิน การทำความรู้จักและเรียนรู้ผ่านสิ่งรอบตัวและผู้คนที่พบเจอ หนึ่งเดือนในการอยู่ร่วมกัน หนึ่งเดือนแห่งการแบ่งปัน ทั้งความคิด มุมมอง และการทำงานศิลปะของ สองศิลปิน ปุญญิศา ศิลปรัศมี และอัมรู ไทยสนิท

SYNC artist-in-residence 2017 project presentation

SYNC artist-in-residence 2017 is a collaboration between the Art Centre, Silpakorn University and De’ Lapae Art Space, Narathiwat. The project is open for contemporary artists in any fields of art to apply for a one-month-residency in Narathiwat to work with the selected local artist. At the end of the residency, works from both artists are showcased at De’ Lapae Art Space, Narathiwat. 

Documentary and Talk session on 29 August 2018
“Faces Places” documentary screening, follows artists who traveling around rural areas and make art with people they came across. And join talk session on “Bangkok to Narathiwat”, case study SYNC artist-in-residence 2017 in Narathiwat.

sync / synchronize (v.) cause to happen at the same time ; coordinate ; connect, is like connecting two different cultures and learning about each other through exchanging and sharing thoughts and experiences between artists that come from two different places, in order to learn to live in harmony despite the differences. 

Travelling to an unfamiliar place and culture, and getting to know and learn from things and people encountered, this one month together is a month of sharing - the sharing of different thoughts, perspectives, and working approach between two artists, Punyisa Silparassamee and Amru Thaisnit.
