นิทรรศการ "HATOHANO" ผลงานโดย ศรชัย พงษ์ษา (Sornchai Phongsa) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 10 - 30 มิถุนายน 2561 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2561 18.00 น. ณ อาคาร Fu Lu Shou @Lhong1919

"HATOHANO" นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งเเรกของศรชัย พงษ์ษา ที่ LHONG 1919 เป็นนิทรรศการล่าสุดหลังจาก Montopia ที่จัดขึ้นที่กรุงปารีสประเทศฝรั่งเศส งานชุดนี้ต่อยอดจาก Mon's Spirits Totem เป็นการตั้งคำถามจากระบบสัญลักษณ์ผี (Animism) ที่ชาวมอญในประเทศไทยยังคงใช้ในการควบคุมสังคมและสืบทอดเผ่าพันธุ์ตนเองจากอดีตมาถึงปัจจุบัน ผ่านบุตรชายของแต่ละครอบครัว ( Kinship ) สะท้อนความสัมพันธ์ของผีกับสถานะของผู้ที่นับถือ ซึ่งระบบความเชื่อดังกล่าวกระทบต่อบทบาทหน้าที่ของศิลปินโดยตรง ศิลปินจึงหยิบยืมรูปแบบการสืบทอดผีดังกล่าว มาอยู่ในบริบทของศิลปะร่วมสมัย ภายใต้กระบวนการถอดรหัสระบบความเชื่อจากบรรพบุรุษในเชิงนามธรรมสู่รูปธรรม นิทรรศการนี้ นอกจากเป็นการแสดงผลของกระบวนการส่งต่อเรื่องเล่าจากพื้นที่ชายขอบเข้ามาสู่สังคมเมืองแล้วยังสะท้อนสถานะของผีที่คนมอญนับถือที่ไม่ต่างจากสถานะทางสังคมของชาวมอญเอง

The artist intended to present (Totem), Mon ghosts of the family. An indication of the ethnic ancestry sign by the legendary through his son. The artists themselves are semiotic ghosts turtle is in the blood. Mon ghost used to control society to live peacefully. And also the role of the regulator son of Mon people. Which have to bear the burden that this successor to the ritual rather complex feelings and practice. There was a strong bond between the human spirit. Artists must make a balance between the inheritance of ancestral beliefs to conform to the way of life in modern society. The inheritance, respect, believing in superstition touch on with the judgment and wise. Cause to question their own ancestral roots in history, culture, way of life, the style of living of the faith. The relationship between human and the faith that looks complicated.
