นี่คือนิทรรศการสกรีนพริ้นท์ ระหว่างพริ้นท์สตูดิโอจากเบอร์ลิน (Le Raclet) และพริ้นท์สตูดิโอจากกรุงเทพฯ (The Archivist) อันเกิดจากการพบกันระหว่าง Bera (Le Raclet) และ มิน วุ้น (The Archivist) เมื่อ 3 ปีที่แล้ว ได้สร้างความตื่นเต้นระหว่างสตูดิโอที่สร้างสรรค์งานพิมพ์เหมือนกัน ภายในโลกเล็กๆ ใบนี้ แม้อยู่ต่างพื้นที่ พวกเธอยังคงติดตาม แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ วิธีการทำงาน ซึ่งกันและกันอยู่เสมอ จนประจวบเหมาะในเวลาที่เหมาะสม Le Raclet ได้จัดนิทรรศการ Ten-Ten ครบรอบ 10 ปี ของสตูดิโอ ซึ่งเธอได้ชวนศิลปินทั่วยุโรปที่เธอรู้จักและเคยร่วมงานด้วย มาพิมพ์งาน และเธออยากนำงานมาจัดแสดงที่กรุงเทพฯ ด้วย ซึ่งพวกเธอคิดว่ามันน่าสนุกมากที่จะทำให้ทุกคนได้เห็นงานพิมพ์ งานของศิลปินจากอีกฟากฝั่งของโลก และทางฝั่งไทยเองก็ยังได้ทำงานพิมพ์ศิลปินไทยที่ The Archivist เลือกเพื่อโชว์และบอกเล่าถึงกระบวนการทำงานของสองสตูดิโอไปพร้อมกันอีกด้วย

The Printers’ Prints exhibition is a collaboration between Berlin-based print studio, Le Raclet and Bangkok-based print studio, The Archivist. The encounter three years ago between the studios was exhilarating as they both run a local hand-pulled screen-print studio where artists, designers, and illustrators come together to celebrate creativity. Despite of distance, they continue to keep exchanging techniques, sharing new ideas, and supporting each other.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Le Raclet came up with Ten-Ten!, an exhibition in Berlin where the studio invited international and local artists across Europe to join forces and create intriguing prints. After discussion, Le Raclet and the Archivist, would love to bring these prints to Bangkok and display them among the Archivist’s selections of local artists’ prints. They believe it would be exceptionally incredible to get a glimpse of work of artists from another part of the world and apprehend the stories behind those prints from the artisans’ point of view.
