นิทรรศการ "ชาติ หน้า : Next Nation" ผลงานโดย อานนท์ นงค์เยาว์ (Arnont Nongyao) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน - 5 ธันวาคม 2560 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 11 พฤศิจิกายน 2560 เวลา 18.30 น. ณ Cartel Artspace

*ในคืนวันเปิดจะมีการแสดง performance of expanded cinema การแสดงเกี่ยวกับ เสียง และ ภาพเคลื่อนไหว เริ่มเวลา 19.30 น

*ในวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน มีการจัดฉาย หนังทดลองที่ศิลปินได้ทำขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2546 ทั้งหมด 5 เรื่อง ใน program “the image of sound: see a sound, hear an image”
สถานที่ Tentacles Gallery ตั้งแต่เวลา 16.00 น หลังจากจัดฉายเสร็จ จะมีการพูดคุยกับศิลปิน และผู้จัดงาน

“ชาติ...หน้า” หลังจากช่วงเดือน พฤษภาคม ปี 2557 หลายอย่างเริ่มเปลี่ยนไป
ทำให้ข้อคิดเห็นต่างๆ เริ่มกลายพันธ์ แม้กระทั่งตัวฉันเองเองได้ละลายเสียงของความคิด
ผ่านไปยัง สิ่งที่พอจะทำได้ในช่วงเวลาที่ผ่านมา..............................!

นิทรรศการนี้เป็นการรวบรวม ผลงานของศิลปินสร้างขึ้นตั้งแต่ หลังเดือน พฤษภาคม ปี 2557 ผ่านรูปแบบ moving image and sound installation และ วีดีโอทดลอง 3 เรื่อง ที่ศิลปินได้ทำขึ้นหลังจาก ปี 2557 จนถึง ปี 2560 และในวันเปิดนิทรรศการ จะมีการแสดง 
performance of expanded cinema ที่ศิลปินได้พัฒนามาจากการแสดง sound and moving image ชุด “Funeral Song for Nothing” ที่ได้แสดงมาแล้วในหลายประเทศ

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
อานนท์ นงค์เยาว์ (2522) จบการศึกษาทางด้านจิตรกรรม แต่มีความสนใจทำงานศิลปะที่เกี่ยวกับ ศิลปะเสียง และ ภาพเคลื่อนไหวทดลอง โดยเน้นไปที่แรงสั่นสะเทือนของสิ่งต่างๆ ที่เป็นตัวเชื่อมให้ อานนท์ เข้าไปหาสิ่งต่างๆที่อยู่รอบตัว ไม่ว่าจะเป็น มนุษย์ สิ่งมีชีวิต สิ่งของ และเรื่องราวในสังคม และแปรค่าแรงสั่นสะเทือนเหล่านั้นมาเป็นผลงานในรูปแบบต่างๆ ผลงานของ อานนท์ ที่เกียวกับด้านศิลปะเสียง และภาพเคลื่อนไหวทดลอง ได้ถูกเชิญไปแสดงในหลายประเทศ อาทิ “Asian Meeting Festival 2017”, Japan. AVATAR, Quebec, Canada. “TEF vol 10”, Tokyo Wonder site, Tokyo, Japan. “MADATAC 07 New media art” Madrid, Spain. “Ensembles Asia Special” Saitama Triennale, Japan. “16th Media Art Biennale WRO 2015”, Wroclaw, Poland. “PROXIMIY”, Szczecin, Poland.

วุธ ลีโน (เกิดปี 2525 ที่ประเทศกัมพูชา) เป็นศิลปิน ภัณฑารักษ์ และผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายศิลปะของ Sa Sa Art Projects ที่กรุงพนมเปญ

เกี่ยวกับภัณฑารักษ์ expanded cinema
ปฐมพงศ์ มานะกิจสมบูรณ์ เป็นภัณฑารักษ์อิสระและนักวิจัยทางด้านภาพเคลื่อนไหว ทำงานในพื้นที่ของภาพเคลื่อนไหวของศิลปิน, ภาพยนตร์ทดลอง และงาน Media Art มีความสนใจในประเด็นของการก่อร่างของอิทธิพลวัฒนธรรมวัตถุ (Material Culture)ที่มีต่อมนุษย์ รวมถึงเทคโนโลยีและความรับรู้ ปฐมพงศ์จบการศึกษาปริญญาโท ด้านการคัดสรรภาพยนตร์ (Film Curating) จาก Birkbeck, University of London (Distinction) ปัจจุบันกำลังจัดตั้งกลุ่ม Latent Images ซึ่งทำงานในพื้นที่ของภาพเคลื่อนไหวที่เกี่ยวเนื่องระหว่างงานภัณฑารักษ์และวิชาการ

*On 12 Nov 2017, There is screening artist’s experimental film sine 2003 - 2016 , 5 short films.The program “the image of sound: see a sound, hear an image” at Tentacles Gallery, 
start 4.00 pm, after finished artist and curator Q & A.

“Next...Nation” 
"National ... ahead" after May 2014 every things have been changing that made the comments to mutate, event myself have been fusing my voice of thinking through to what is possible in the past ..............................!

This exhibition is a gathering of artist's works have been doing since May, 2014, moving image and sound installation and 3 experimental videos 2014 - 2017, 
On opening day there is a “performance of expanded cinema” that the artist has been developing from the sound and moving image series "Funeral Song for Nothing" that had already showed in many countries.

About Artist
Arnont Nongyao (1979) graduated painting but interesting and working about sound art and moving images experimental that especially in vibrations of things, the vibration are connecting Arnont to surroundings event human, things, organism sound social’s story and analysis the vibration to his art works. About Exhibition curator
Vuth Lyno (b. 1982, Cambodia) is an artist, curator and artistic director of Sa Sa Art Projects, based in Phnom Penh.

About Expanded cinema curator
Pathompong Manakitsomboon is an independent curator and researcher based in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. He works primarily in the areas of artists’ moving image, experimental film, and media art, with experiences across the fields of curatorial practice and filmmaking. He was previously a programmer/curator at Bangkok World Film Festival, Bangkok Experimental Film Festival, and Alliance Francaise Bangkok. He also produces and distributes several renowned Thai artists' moving images. Pathompong holds a Master’s in Film Curating from Birkbeck, University of London where he graduated with Distinction. His research area concerns the emerging discipline of material culture, technology and conciousness and their influences on image-making and spectacles in relation to curatorial knowledge. Pathompong is currently forming ‘Latent Images,’ a moving image collective that aims to bridge the interstices between the curating world and the academy.
