นิทรรศการ "เสียงจากจิตวิญญาณ : Voice of my soul" ผลงานโดย อิวาน มารชุก (Ivan Marchuk) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 2 - 16 พฤศจิกายน 2560 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 2 พฤศจิกายน 2560 เวลา 17.00 น. ณ หอศิลป์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ : The Queen's Gallery

ศิลปินระดับตำนานจากประเทศยูเครน อิวาน มารชุก (Ivan Marchuk) เตรียมเข้ามาเปิดแสดงผลงานศิลปะ “เสียงจากจิตวิญญาณ” (Voice of My Soul) เป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย ณ หอศิลป์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ วันที่ 2-16 พ.ย. นี้ จัดแสดงโดยสถานเอกอัครราชฑูตสาธารณรัฐยูเครนประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อร่วมสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการฑูตครบรอบ 25 ปีระหว่างสาธารณรัฐยูเครนและประเทศไทย

อิวาน มารชุก เกิดเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2479 เขาได้รับการยกย่องว่าเป็นตำนานที่ยังมีชีวิตอยู่ของวงการศิลปะยูเครน และเป็นอัจฉริยบุคคลด้านศิลปะสมัยใหม่ อีกทั้งยังเป็นศิลปินชาวยูเครนเพียงคนเดียวที่ได้รับการยอมรับจากสถาบันนานาชาติด้านศิลปะสมัยใหม่ แห่งกรุงโรม ( International Academy of Modern Art in Rome) ให้เป็นสมาชิกของสมาคม Golden Guild ในปี พ.ศ. 2550

นอกจากนี้ อิวาน มารชุก ยังได้รับการยกย่องจาก The Daily Telegraph หนังสือพิมพ์รายวันชื่อดังจากประเทศอังกฤษ ว่าเป็นหนึ่งใน 100 อัจฉริยบุคคลในโลกยุคปัจจุบัน ซึ่งเป็นผลจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานหลากหลายมิติและล้ำสมัย ผลงานของอิวาน มารชุกยังนับเป็นการกำหนดแนวโน้มและการพัฒนามุมมองของโลกหลัง ยุคอุตสาหกรรมอีกด้วย

การจัดแสดงผลงานครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยของ อิวาน มารชุก นี้  ได้รวบรวมผลงานชั้นยอดจำนวน 60 ชิ้น ประกอบด้วยผลงานเทคนิค pliontanizm ซึ่งประยุกต์มาจากภาษายูเครน หมายถึง การถักทอ หรือทอผ้า อันเป็นเทคนิคเฉพาะตัวที่รังสรรค์ขึ้นด้วยตัวเองของอิวาน มารชุก ซึ่งมีทั้งผลงานที่ประกอบไปด้วยภาพหลากสีและแบบโทนสีเดียว ซึ่งเกิดจากความตั้งใจที่จะแสดงให้เห็นถึงสมดุลยภาพระหว่างขีดจำกัดของเทคโนโลยีและฝีมือมนุษย์

นิทรรศการ Voice of my soul จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 2 - 16 พฤศจิกายน 2560 ณ หอศิลป์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ถนนราชดำเนินกลาง (เชิงสะพานผ่านฟ้า) กรุงเทพฯ เปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวัน (ปิดวันพุธ) เวลา 10:00 น. – 19:00 น.

ในพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการจะมีขึ้นในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 2 พฤศจิกายน 2560 เวลา 17.00 น. โดยมีท่านเอกอัครราชฑูตยูเครน ประจำประเทศไทย และ อิวาน มารชุก ศิลปินได้ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเพื่อกล่าวเปิดงาน

Voice of my soul

The Ukrainian’s living legend artist Mr. Ivan Marchuk “Voice of My Soul” will be exhibiting for the first time in Bangkok at The Queen’s Gallery next month to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Thailand.

Born in 1936, Ivan Marchuk is notable as the living legend of Ukrainian art and the genius of modern art. He is the only Ukrainian artist recognized by International Academy of Modern Art in Rome as the member of the “Golden Guild”.

In 2007 Mr Marchuk was named as one among top 100 world geniuses of our time by the London-based Daily Telegraph, for his masterpiece multidimensional paintings of the Universe and, being ahead of time, determine trends and development
perspectives of the post-industrial civilization.

Organized by the Embassy of Ukrainian to Thailand, Mr. Ivan Marchuk’s first exhibition in Thailand “Voice of My Soul” showcases 60 prominent works including colorful and monochrome works in his original technique “pliontanizm”, a term translated from an Ukrainian word “pliontaty”- means; to weave, to knit, in which Mr Marchuk has meant to express the balance between the man-made and technological limits through the art form.

“Voice of My Soul” exhibition will be showing from 2-16 November 2017 at The Queen’s Gallery Ratchadamnoen Klang Road in Bangkok. The Gallery opens daily except Wednesday from 10.00-19.00 hrs.

The opening will begin at 17.00 on Thursday 2 November 2017 with presiding over by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Thailand and the Artist Ivan Marchuk.
