Thavibu ART is pleased to present a group art exhibition titled, INVESTIGATING INSPIRATIONS, featuring new artworks by 6 established and promising contemporary Thai artists:
1) Therdkiat Wangwatcharakul
2) Santi Thongsuk
3) Kritsana Chaikitwattana
4) Chatchawan Amsomkid
5) Rattana Salee
6) Sudaporn Phannil

The exhibition will feature new paintings and sculptures created from inspirations, ranging from the social & political to the spiritual & aesthetic. Such inspirations could be traced back to the artist’s life experience, surroundings, politics and even other artists. Each of the artist has chosen to transfer their unique instrument of cathartic release onto their preferred medium, creating powerful works of art that encourage the audience to question the world we live in.

Topics covered in this exhibition range broadly from the geo-political to the loneliness of living in a metropolis, Buddhism as an anti-dote to external & internal chaos, the collision of ideologies, the fragility of human existence, and the ethics, or lack thereof, of animal experimentations.
