A passion in photography at seventeen years old was still the time to remember events through film medium. The curiosity emerged when spotted those beautiful images from magazine, fashion and advertising.

An opportunity to work in a printing company, which worked with various magazines, had gained me more experiences. Also seeing more potentials to understand how is photography so important. Passionate in photography cause me to study aboard in the United state, a new chapter to expand my photographic knowledge in many aspects. It was not only advertising, but also self interest field called "fine art".

Craft was one of my interests. I also wanted to learn how the original photography created their prints. Though taking many historical printing classes, it still not enough to impress myself so that I explored from other media and workshop. I had a chance to demonstrate how to do historical process and involved some group shows which acknowledged me how to install, present and set up my pieces.

When returning home, Bangkok, I planned to build the photo studio for people interesting in hand printing named "PH31". I created some workshops such as darkroom photography, digital negative and etc. We also have printing, film scan, reproduction imagery services.

Artist Statement
These series of photograph started from my interest in space, object and environment among us. The stereotype in lifetime makes me discover the simple way to living. I'm not only look at the beauty of space and subject, but also wanting to record memories in photograph. Rather than show how the place look like, I like to represent the different vision of mine. My subjects are related by human made structure, so that they created the connection in these body of work.

Drawing into shape, rhythm and time, My photographs contain simple arrangement and easy to observe. Using extrusive time create some chance to interact with space and people even though they aren't be record but it connected people to statue. With this technique, i create the silence within my photograph and represent it out of chaos.

Platinum print is an important element for this series because it's archival and freeze the moment it time without change. The tone and texture of print represent

Platinum print

Platinum prints
Platinum prints, also called platinotypes, are photographic prints made my a monochrome printing process that provides the great tonal range of any printing method using chemical development.

Platinum prints are made by photographers and favored by collectors because of their tonal range, the surface quality and their permanence. A platinum print provides a broad scale of tones from black to white. The platinum tones range from warm black, to reddish brown, to expanded mid-tone brays that are unobtainable in silver prints.

Unlike the silver print process, platinum lies on the paper surface, while silver lies on a gelatin or albumen emulsion is used, the final platinum image is absolutely matte with a deposits of platinum absorbed slightly into the paper.

“Platinum prints are the most durable of all photographic processes. The platinum group metals are very stable against chemical reactions that might degrade the print-even more stable than gold. It is estimated that a platinum image, properly made, can last thousands of year.” - Dick Arentz

Dick Arentz
