นิทรรศการ "ของ - ปลอม 2 : Fake – Work II"

นิทรรศการ "ของ - ปลอม 2 : Fake – Work II" ผลงานโดย ประวิทย์ ล้ำเจริญ (Prawit Lumcharoen) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 8 – 29 ตุลาคม 2559 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 8 ตุลาคม 2559 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ Number 1 Gallery : นัมเบอร์ วัน แกลเลอรี่

ของ - ปลอม 2 ผลงานของ ประวิทย์ ล้ำเจริญสืบเนื่องมาจากผลงานนิทรรศการครั้งก่อนหน้านี้ เป็นผลงานจิตรกรรมที่นำเอาศิลปะจากการวาดภาพเหมือนจริง จนค้นพบเสน่ห์ของฟรอยด์ที่แวววาว มันวาว มาปรับเปลี่ยนเทคนิคการวาดภาพโดยใช้ผิวมนุษย์แทนด้วยฟรอยด์หรืออลูมิเนียมเพื่อบ่งบอกถึงเทคโนโลยีที่เข้ามาแทนที่ เป็นการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจนกลายเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปินเองมาโดยตลอด เป็นการสร้างผลงานใหม่ให้ทันยุคทันสมัย สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความเจริญทางเทคโนโลยีที่เข้ามาคลอบง้ำเป็นปัจจัยหลักของการใช้ชีวิตประจำวันไปแล้ว

ผลงานชุดนี้ สร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2557 7 ชิ้น พ.ศ. 2558 3 ชิ้น และพ.ศ. 2559 8 ชิ้น เป็นการวาดภาพโดยใช้สีน้ำมันโดยเน้นแนวความคิด ความเจริญไม่เคยหยุดยั้ง เพราะความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของมนุษย์ในปัจจุบันขณะจึงมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในชีวิตประจำวัน โดยเฉพาะอย่ายิ่งคนที่อยู่ในสังคมเมืองจู่โจมเข้ามาในรูปแบบชีวิตโลกแห่งความเป็นวัตถุ โลกแห่งสีสันเคราะห์และผิวสังเคราะห์ ประวิทย์ ล้ำเจริญ จึงนำลักษณะเฉพาะของผิวที่ให้ความรู้สึกมันวาว (METALIC) อุปลักษณ์ในรูปแบบชีวิต คน สัตว์ สิ่งของ ผ่านผลงานจิตรรม

สำหรับนิทรรศการ ของ– ปลอม2 ถือเป็นการแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งที่ 2 ที่สืบเนื่องมาจาก นิทรรศการในครั้งที่ผ่านมานับได้ว่าเป็นการแสดงงานเต็มรูปแบบที่ได้รวบรวมงานที่น่าสนใจของศิลปินเอง ประวิทย์ ล้ำเจริญ ศิลปินเกิดที่จังหวัดสุราษธานีจบการศึกษา จากปริญญาศิลปบัณฑิต สาขาจิตรกรรมมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ วิทยาลัยเพาะช่าง และปริญญาศิลปมหาบัณฑิต สาขาจิตรกรรม บัณฑิตวิทยาลัยมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรและยังได้รับรางวัลต่าง ๆ อาทิเช่น รางวัลพิเศษ ระดับเยาวชน 14-17ปี ศิลปกรรม ครั้งที่ 19, รางวัลชมเชย การประกวดโปสเตอร์ ข้าวคือชีวิต, รางวัลชมเชยศิลปกรรมเยาวชนทักษิณ ครั้งที่ 3 ,รางวัลดีเด่นศิลปกรรมเยาวชนทักษิณ ครั้งที่ 5,รางวัลพิเศษ การประกวดศิลปกรรมโตชิบา ครั้งที่ 24,รางวัลยอดเยี่ยมอันดับ 2 การประกวดจิตกรรมร่วมสมัย พานาโซนิค ครั่งที่ 15 ทุนสนับสนุนสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะ มูลนิธิรัฐบุรุษ พลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนนท์

“Fake – Work II” the artworks of Prawit Lumcharoen were continued from the past exhibition which used the technique of portrait drawings inspired by the shine of aluminum foil to express about the replacement of technologies. This style of artwork becomes the signature of the artist, which aims to be contemporary to this era where the development of technology has already plays an important roles in human’s routine.

7 of the artworks were made in 2014, 3 in 2015, and 8 in 2016. All of them were drawn by using oil color and focused on thoughts and limitless development. Because of the growth of the technologies nowadays, humans are having all of the facilities to make their life easier; especially the people in the urban area that will live in the world of materials and artificial surface. Therefore, the artist took the uniqueness of the metallic surface to metaphor life, humans, animals, and object and express it to the artwork.

The exhibition “Fake – Work II” is the exhibition continued from the last exhibition and considered as the full performance exhibition that brings all of the interesting artworks of the artist. The artist Prawit Lumcharoen was born it SuratThaniprovince, graduated bachelor degree from RachamangalaRattanakosin University majored in faculty of arts and master degree in arts from Silpakorn University and have received many awards in many competition since he was a teenager such as Special Prize for 19th Arts by 14-17 Years Old Artists Compliment Prize from ‘Rice and Life’ Poster Design Contest by Thai Rice Foundation , Compliment Prize from 3rd Arts by Southern Young Artists , Top Prize from 5th Arts by Southern Young Artists , Special Prize from 24th Toshiba Art Contest Second Runner-Up Prize from 15th Panasonic Contemporary Art Contest Fund for Art Creation by General PremTinsulanonda Statesman Foundation
