นิทรรศการ “สติ : Right mindfulness”

นิทรรศการ “สติ : Right mindfulness” ผลงานโดย สุพร แก้วดา (Suporn Kaewda) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 6 - 28 สิงหาคมคม 2559 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2559 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ Number 1 Gallery : นัมเบอร์ วัน แกลเลอรี่

สติ (Right mindfulness) ผลงานของ สุพร แก้วดา เป็นผลงานจิตรกรรมที่นำเอาศิลปะการวาดเส้นมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะไทยร่วมสมัย สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงแนวคิด คุณค่าทางปรัชญาทางพุทธศาสนาที่ทำให้มนุษย์ได้คิดว่า รูป-นาม ที่เป็นของไม่เที่ยง เกิดขึ้นตั้งอยู่และดับไปตามเหตุ ควรพึงมีสติตั้งมั่น ไม่หวั่นไหวโดยง่ายไปกับแรงปรารถนา จนเกิดความทุกข์ แม้แต่ความสุขที่เกิดขึ้นก็อย่าได้ชะล่าใจ เมื่อมีความรู้สึกทุกข์แล้ว ให้มีสติ รู้จัก ตามรู้ พิจารณาให้เห็นตามที่เป็น จะทำให้จิตใจของเราเป็นอิสระต่อความทุกข์ ผลงานชุดนี้ สร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2558 6 ชิ้น และพ.ศ. 2559 7 ชิ้น เป็นการวาดเส้นเพื่อกำหนดรู้ด้วยสติ ฝึกฝน อบรมจิตใจของตนบนโครงสร้างที่มีความเคลื่อนไหว แปรเปลี่ยนอยู่ตลอดเวลาตามเหตุปัจจัยที่ปรากฏให้เห็นทางธรรมชาติและเลือกเอามาเป็นแก่นสาระในงานในครั้งนี้ เพื่อกระตุ้นตัวเองและผู้พบเห็นสัจธรรมธรรมดา ของธรรมชาติ

สุพร แก้วดา ศิลปินที่ได้ชื่อว่าเป็น ศิลปินดินสอไข จากการวาดเส้นที่ใช้ดินสอไขและลายเส้นต่าง ๆ ที่ทำให้เห็นลวดลายที่พิถีพิถันสร้างสร้างสรรค์ให้เกิดขึ้นมาให้เห็นลวดลายที่มีความพลิ้วไหว เคลื่อนไหวไปตามอารมณ์ ความสะเทือนใจของศิลปินเอง สุพร แก้วดา เป็นศิลปินที่เกิดในพื้นที่ ที่ห่างไกลความเจริญ ได้ต่อสู้ ผ่านพ้น ผลักดันตัวเองจนประสบความสำเร็จ ทำให้ได้เห็นถึงสุนทรียภาพขั้นลึกซึ้ง จนมีมูลค่าในระดับชาติได้รับการคัดเลือกให้ไปจัดนิทรรศการ ดูงานและปฏิบัติงานศิลปะในสหรัฐอเมริกาโดยสำนักงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย และยังได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศต่าง ๆ อาทิเช่น รางวัลชนะเลิศ ทักษะวิชาชีพศิลปะหัตกรรมลายรดน้ำ รางวัลชนะเลิศวาดภาพแห่เทียนพรรษา จ.อุบลราชธานี รางวัลยอดเยี่ยมการประกวดศิลปกรรม นำสิ่งที่ดีสู่ชีวิต ครั้งที่21 ประจำปี 2552 โดยบริษัท โตชิบาประเทศไทย, รางวัลเกียรตินิยมอันดับ 1 เหรียญทองประเภทจิตรกรรม การแสดงศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติครั้งที่ 56 ,รางวัล Purchase Prizes การแสดงภาพพิมพ์และวาดเส้นนานาชาติครั้งที่ 3

Number 1 Gallery is pleased to present the art exhibition
“Right mindfulness”

Right mindfulness, the works of Suporn Kaewda, are the series of painting which represent Thai contemporary style arts. They reflect the mindset of Buddhism philosophy that teaches human beings to realize mortality of things in the universe and alternately rise and fall of everything; therefore, right mindfulness is important to remind humans to avoid the aggressive desire which distract human beings to be frustrated, and warn us that nothing lasts forever. When we are out of grieving, we should keep ourselves in right mindfulness to consider things as its nature, let our mind state be free of any distress. Theseworks including 6 pieces are created in 2015 and becoming 7 pieces in 2016. The works illustrate the concept of right mindfulness being set by training his mind with their characteristic lines. The structure of the worksshows moving incessantly as same as law of nature which things keep changing. Their concept is to warn us to be alert by ourselves and recognize the truthiness of nature.

Suporn Kaewda is known as “Crayon Artist” by his painting style using crayon. His works are meticulous and delicate, showing the emotion of gentleness of the artist. Suporn Kaewda was born in a remote place away from urban area; thus, he had to fight until achieving so that comprehending profound arts. Since his works are already renown in Thailand, then he was invited to participate in and make a presentation in USA by contemporary arts and culture institution of United State. Besides, he grantedmany rewards, such as the first prize “arts of water drop pattern” / the prize of “Buddhist candle march” Ubon Radchathanee/ the excellent award “Leading good things to Life” in 21th, 2009 by Tochiba, Thailand / the first class honor with gold medal in painting in National painting exhibition 56th / the Purchase Prizes award of printing and drawing in National exhibition 3th.
