นิทรรศการ "ไลน์ถึงสกายเลอร์ : Line to Skyler" ผลงานโดย รสลิน กาสต์ (Rossalin Garst ) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 6 - 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 เวลา 18:00 น. ณ นำทอง แกลเลอรี : Numthong Gallery

การพลัดพรากจากสิ่งที่รักเป็นทุกข์ รสลิน กาสต์ ศิลปินหญิงและอาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ได้เยียวยาตนเองจากความทุกข์ที่มีต่อการสูญเสีย สกายเลอร์ สุนัขอันเป็นที่รักด้วยการสื่อสารความรักความคิดถึง ถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกอบอุ่นอ่อนหวานผ่านโปรแกรม “ไลน์” ไปยังสกายเลอร์ผู้ไม่มีตัวตนบนโลกนี้อีกแล้ว

“ไลน์” ของรสลินเป็นผืนผ้าที่มี ข้อความ สติกเกอร์ และภาพ ด้วยการเย็บมือ ฝีเข็ม เส้นด้าย การกลัดยึดผืนผ้า สร้างข้อความส่งไปยังสกายเลอร์ ภาพมวลหมู่ปลา และ อวัยวะภายในของมนุษย์และสุนัข ที่ปรากฏ ทำหน้าที่ส่งพลังไปบำบัดสกายเลอร์ และส่งความสุขให้สกายเลอร์ที่รักให้มีความสุขในที่อยู่ใหม่ ราวกับศิลปินได้พูดคุยผ่านไลน์ศิลปะและเกิดความสุขเมื่อจินตนาการถึงปฏิกิริยาของสกายเลอร์ผู้รับข้อความที่จะเป็นฝ่ายรับฟังเพียงอย่างเดียวทั้งเมื่อครั้งยังมีชีวิตและเมื่อไม่มีชีวิตอยู่ในโลกนี้

Line To Skyler จึงเป็นการแสดงผลงานศิลปะที่บำบัดและเยียวยาความรู้สึกทุกข์เศร้ายามที่จากสิ่งอันเป็นที่รัก สื่อถึงความสุขและความงามของการ “ให้”

โดยมีพิธีเปิด :

และมีการพูดคุยอย่างเป็นกันเองระหว่างศิลปินเจ้าของผลงานและศิลปินเชื้อเชิญอีก 5 ท่านได้แก่

Losing the loved one is suffering, Rossalin Garst, a female artist and professor from Chiang Mai University, had recovered herself from the loss of Skyler, her beloved dog, by conveying her love, nostalgia and sweet warm feeling through “Line” application to Skyler who has passed away already.

“Line” by Rossalin is the fabric labeled with messages, stickers and photos by handmade sewing. Stitch, thread and tack on fabric are sending message to Skyler. Mass of fish and internal organs of human and dog as shown are sending the power for therapy to Skyler and are sending happiness to her beloved dog in its new place as well. Just like the way the artist has communicated through artist Line and enlightened by the imagination how Skyler would react as if he receives this messageas the listener whether he is alive or not.

Line To Skyler is the art exhibition therapy that helps healing the sadness from losing of loved one and represents the joy and beauty of “giving” at the same time.
