นิทรรศการ “สู่ (ไร้) สภาวะ : Becoming (Un) Conditioned” ส่วนที่ 1 “บทสนทนาไร้สภาวะ : Unconditioned Discussion” ผลงานโดย วิชญ มุกดามณี (Vichaya Mukdamanee) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2558 - 22 พฤศจิกายน 2558 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันเสาร์ที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2558 เวลา 14.00 น. ณ หอจดหมายเหตุพุทธทาส อินทปัญโญ (สวนโมกข์กรุงเทพ)

ขอเชิญผู้สนใจเข้าชมนิทรรศการศิลปกรรมร่วมสมัย “สู่ (ไร้) สภาวะ – Becoming (Un) Conditioned” โดย วิชญ มุกดามณี

โดยจัดแบ่งนิทรรศการเป็น 2 ส่วน คือ ส่วนที่ 1 ภายใต้แนวความคิดของนิทรรศการว่า “Unconditioned Discussion” (บทสนทนาไร้สภาวะ) จัดแสดงระหว่าง 31 ตุลาคม 2558 - 22 พฤศจิกายน 2558 ณ หอจดหมายเหตุพุทธทาส อินทปัญโญ (สวนโมกข์กรุงเทพ) พิธีเปิดนิทรรศการ วันเสาร์ที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2558 เวลา 14.00 น. และส่วนที่ 2 ภายใต้แนวความคิดว่า “Reconstructing Emptiness” (ประกอบสร้างความว่าง) จัดแสดงระหว่าง 14 - 29 ธันวาคม 2558 ณ หอศิลป์ร่วมสมัยราชดำเนิน

นิทรรศการนำเสนอมุมมองและการตั้งคำถามของศิลปิน ที่มีต่ออิทธิพลและการพึ่งพาอาศัยกันระหว่างศาสนาพุทธกับวิถีการดำเนินชีวิต ประจำวันของคนไทยยุคปัจจุบัน ผลงานศิลปะหลากหลายรูปแบบที่นำมาจัดแสดงคล้ายบทสนทนาที่ศิลปินสร้างสรรค์ ขึ้นเพื่อตอบโต้ วิเคราะห์ และทบทวนหลักปรัชญาและคำสอนบางประเด็นของพระพุทธศาสนา ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างจิต (mind) และกาย (body) ตัวตน (self) และความไร้ตัวตน (selfless) สมาธิ (meditation) และความว่างเปล่า (emptiness) พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ดูได้ร่วมเรียนรู้และตีความหลักธรรมคำสอน ผ่านการดู การสัมผัส และการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ร่วมกับผลงานศิลปะดังกล่าว

A solo exhibition, “สู่ (ไร้) สภาวะ – Becoming (Un) Conditioned”, by Thai young artist, Vichaya Mukdamanee, will be divided into two parts and be held at two venues by the end of 2015.

The first part of the exhibition, created under the concept of “Unconditioned Discussion”, will be on view from October 31 - November 22, 2015 at Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives - BiA / Suan Mokkh Bangkok. The second part, which is under the concept of “Reconstructing Emptiness”, will be shown at Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center from December 14 – December 29, 2015.

Both exhibitions will include the artist’s recent work that expresses his perception and questions regarding the influence and connection between practicing Theravada Buddhism and Thai contemporary lives. Mukdamanee creates artwork in various techniques in the dialogue with the religion, in order to analyze and explore some issues that come from the teaching and philosophy of the religion, such as the relationship between mind and body, self and selfless, mediation and emptiness. The exhibitions will also encourage and enable the audience to learn and experience these conversations by navigating through the space and engaging with the artwork.
