นิทรรศการจิตรกรรม "Present Tense" ผลงานโดย อังกฤษ อัจฉริยโสภณ (Angkrit Ajchariyasophon) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 24 กันยายน - 20 พฤศจิกายน 2558 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2558 เวลา 19:00 น. ณ Schemata Gallery

Schemata Gallery มีความยินดีที่จะนำเสนอนิทรรศการจิตรกรรม ‘Present Tense’ โดย อังกฤษ อัจฉริยโสภณ ศิลปินชาวเชียงราย ตั้งแต่ปี 2556 อังกฤษ อัจฉริยโสภณ สร้างสรรค์ผลงานในชุด ‘Constant Uncertainty’ ที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวข้องกับ ‘เวลา’ และ ‘ความเปลี่ยนแปลง’ ด้วยการกลับด้านงานจิตรกรรม แสดงให้เห็น “ร่องรอยที่เกิดขึ้นเอง” ในฐานะงานศิลปะภายใต้แนวคิดหลักนิรกรรม อู๋เหวย(Wu Wei)

ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ อังกฤษ อัจฉริยโสภณ ต้องการนำเสนอ จุดเริ่มต้นของการย้อนกลับไปทบทวนตนเอง ผ่านการทำงานศิลปะ โดยเริ่มต้นระบายสีแดงในแบบโมโนโครม(Monochrome) เพื่อสร้างพื้นที่ว่างใหม่ต่อการตีความในงานของตนเอง เพื่อบันทึกเหตุการณ์ และสะท้อนทัศนคติต่อการปิดกั้นเสรีภาพ โดยตั้งชื่องานในชุดนี้ว่า Present Tense ซึ่งยังคงมีความหมายสัมพันธ์กับ ‘เวลา’ และความเป็น ‘ปัจจุบันกาล’ รวมถึงสภาวะที่มี ‘ความตึงเครียด’(Tense) อีกด้วย

อังกฤษ อัจฉริยโสภณ เกิดปี พ.ศ. 2519 ที่จังหวัดเชียงราย จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี จากคณะวิจิตรศิลป์ และ ปริญญาโท จากภาควิชาสื่อศิลปะและการออกแบบสื่อ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เริ่มต้นทำงานจิตรกรรมนามธรรมในนิทรรศการเดี่ยว ‘AAAAAAA’ ที่ 9Art Gallery และมีความสนใจเกี่ยวกับ ‘เวลา’ อย่างชัดเจนในนิทรรศการเดี่ยว ‘Brightness of the past, Vagueness of the Present’ จัดแสดงที่ GALLERY point-1 เมืองโอกินาว่า ประเทศญี่ปุ่น จัดแสดงผลงานจิตรกรรมนามธรรมอย่างเต็มตัวในนิทรรศการ ‘Constant Uncertainty’ ที่ 338OIDA Gallery กรุงเทพฯ ปัจจุบันเป็นเจ้าของร้านเกาเหลาเลือดหมู ผู้จัดการอังกฤษแกลลอรี่ และเป็นศิลปินอิสระ

Schemata Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of Chiangrai-based artist Angkrit Ajchariyasophon (b.1976) “Present Tense”. Since 2013, Angkrit Ajchariyasophon has created “Constant Uncertainty” which is all about “time” and “changing” by turning the art itself and explores “naturally trace”, inspired by ‘Wu Wei’ important concept in Taoism.

In this exhibition , Angkrit Ajchariyasophon would like to present the beginning of learning and observing himself through the art. He painted Monochrome red to create a new empty space in his own way. This new space would be fulfilled with his stories which reflected the attitude under limited liberty. Exhibition titled “Present Tense”. it is not related with “time” and “the present time”, but also the “tense”.

Angkrit Ajchariyasophon was born in1976 in Chiangrai. Angkrit earned his B.F.A. in 2000 and M.A from Chaing Mai University in 2007. His first gallery solo exhibition, titled “Faces of Thai” in 2001. He started his abstract paintings with his solo exhibition titled “AAAAAAA” at 9art Gallery. He has a strong focus about 'time' through the works in the exhibition titled “Brightness of the past, Vagueness of the Present” at GALLERY point-1, Okinawa, Japan. His completed exhibition of abstract paintings titled “Constant Uncertainty” at 338 OIDA Gallery, Bangkok. For his ongoing long-term, he runs his own restaurant and gallery in his hometown.
