นิทรรศการภาพวาด “ดอกไม้เริงระบำ : Floral Choreography” ผลงานโดย กฤติกา บัวบุศย์ (Kritika Buabusya) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม -16 สิงหาคม 2558 ณ ชั้นล่าง Alliance française de Bangkok : สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ

กฤติกา บัวบุศย์เกิดที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ได้ใช้ชีวิตตั้งแต่เล็กจนโตที่ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ศึกษาในสาขาวิชาออกแบบแฟชั่นและสิ่งทอและเป็นอาจารย์สอนวิชานี้ที่ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยและต่อมาที่โอ้คแลนด์ยูนิเวอร์ซิตีออฟเทคโนโลยี(AUT) ประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ นอกเหนือจากงานสอนแล้วยังเคยเป็นนักออกแบบ สื่อสารการค้าปลีก ฝ่ายผลิตและสรรหาแหล่งผลิตแฟชั่น ออกแบบการจัดหน้าร้าน เขียนบทความ จัดสัมมนา และทำหน้าที่เป็นที่ปรึกษาให้กับหน่วยงานต่างๆ เธอมีความสนใจในเรื่องการออกแบบงานทำมือที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความ ยั่งยืนโดยพื้นฐานความหมายของวลี”การออกแบบที่ดี” ซึ่งเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลา ปัจจุบันกฤติกาแบ่งเวลาการใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่กรุงเทพฯและเขาใหญ่ซึ่งเป็นทั้ง บ้านและสตูดิโอ (ยูเรธา อะเทลิเยร์) และมีผลงานเขียนในนิตยสาร Art4D

การปรากฏตัวเป็นครั้งแรกของผลงานภาพสีน้ำโดยศิลปินกฤติกา บัวบุศย์สื่อความสุนทรีย์เชิงภาษากายในรูปแบบการเคลื่อนไหวสีหน้าและท่าทาง ของนักเต้นระบำปลายเท้า ประสานกับจินตนาการในบริบทของสวนพฤกษชาติโดยการปรับแปลงสัดส่วนและการจัดวาง เพื่อให้เกิดอารมณ์สัมผัสอีกมิติหนึ่งด้วยประสบการณ์ในสาขาการออกแบบแฟชั่น และสิ่งทอ ภาพเขียนชุดนี้ได้รับประโยชน์จากวิธีการวาดภาพประกอบแฟชั่นโดยตรง อีกทั้งยังเป็นการทำงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเครื่องแต่งกายและฉากเบื้องหลังที่ ไม่ต้องถูกตีกรอบด้วยกระแสแฟชั่นตามฤดูกาลหรือเงื่อนไขทางการค้าอื่นๆที่ เห็นอยู่ทั่วไปในวงการแฟชั่น “ดอกไม้เริงระบำ” ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นแง่มุมหนึ่งในชีวิตของศิลปินที่อาศัยอยู่ในเวิ้งขุนเขาใกล้ ชิดธรรมชาติที่บ้านเขาใหญ่ ผลงานชุดนี้จึงเป็นการถ่ายทอดบางส่วนของการคลี่คลายและชุบชีวิตให้กับตนเอง ของธรรมชาติ สร้างความตื่นตาตื่นใจให้กับตัวเธอเองและสามีผู้มีโอกาสได้สัมผัสในแต่ละวัน

Kritika Buabusya: Biography
Bangkok born Kritika Buabusya, grew up in Australia. Trained in Fashion and Textiles Design, she spent 10 years as a university lecturer in Thailand and later in New Zealand. Kritika’s other work involves designs, retail, production, sourcing, visual merchandising, writing, organizing seminars and consultancy. She has an on-going interest in sustainable design, the ever changing notion of ‘good’ design and design products made by hand. Kritika is currently dividing her time between Bangkok and Khao Yai where she sets up a creative life studio (Euretha Atelier). She is a regular contributor to Art4D magazine.

This debut collection in water color transfers an aesthetic of non verbal communication through bodily movements, facial expressions and gestures of the ballerinas. This when combined with the botanical setting, manipulation of scales, proportions and composition offers another emotional dimension. Trained as a fashion and textiles designer, Kritika draws on personal experiences in fashion illustration while preparing for her exhibition. This artistic practice is an enquiry into the costume and the setting that does not fall into the trap of seasonal trends and commercialism so prevalent in the fashion world.

“Floral Choreography” represents the current stage in the artist’s life where she is living among nature in Khao Yai. As nature unfolds and renews itself, this exhibition is a figurative study and a celebration of the sense of wonder that it brings to her and her husband on a daily basis.

Biographie
Kritika Buabusya est née à Bangkok, a grandi et a suivi sa scolarité en Australie. Diplômée (Maitrise) dessinatrice de mode et de textile, elle enseigna 10 ans a l’université de Chulalongkorn (Thailande) puis en Nouvelles Zélande. Elle dessine, peint et a enseigne les cycles de la mode depuis l’histoire du textile jusqu’à la présentation visuelle en organisant de nombreux séminaires. Elle poursuit ses recherches pour la promotion de la mode respectueuse de l’environnement et du travail manuel. Kritika partage son temps entre Bangkok et Khao Yai ou elle anime un studio de vie créative (Euretha Atelier). Ses articles sont régulièrement publiés dans le magazine Art4D.

Cette première collection d’aquarelles crée une communication non verbale au travers de mouvements du corps, expressions du visage, et gestes de danseuses de ballet. C’est alors qu’une combinaison de décors floraux, de manipulation de tailles, de proportions et de composition rajoutent une autre dimension émotionnelle.Professionnelle dans le domaine de la création du textile et du vêtement, Kritika peint avec l’inspiration et l’expérience d’illustrateur de mode. Cette pratique artistique est une recherche dans le monde du vêtement et de l’accessoire qui ne tombe pas dans le piège des tendances saisonnières et du consumérisme si développés dans le monde de la mode.

“Floral Choreography” traduit l’étape actuelle de la vie de l’artiste près du parc national de Khaoyai. Comme la nature se déploie et se renouvèle chaque jour, cette exposition est une étude figurative et la célébration de l’enchantement qu’elle et son époux vivent chaque jour.
