นิทรรศการ "The Answer is Blowing in the Wind"

นิทรรศการ "The Answer is Blowing in the Wind" ผลงานโดย ธาดา เฮงทรัพย์กูล (Tada Hengsapkul) จัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่  22 ธันวาคม 2566 - 3 มีนาคม 2567 และจะมีพิธีเปิดในวันศุกร์ที่ 22 ธันวาคม 2566 เวลา 18.00 น. ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะร่วมสมัยใหม่เอี่ยม : MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum

พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะร่วมสมัยใหม่เอี่ยม ขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วมงานเปิดนิทรรศการ Opening reception | The Answer is Blowing in the Wind นิทรรศการเดี่ยวของ ธาดา เฮงทรัพย์กูล ในวันศุกร์ที่ 22 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2566 เวลา 18.00 น. นิทรรศการจัดแสดง ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะร่วมสมัยใหม่เอี่ยม ตั้งแต่วันที่ 22 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2566 - 3 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2567

ธาดา เฮงทรัพย์กูล เป็นศิลปินร่วมสมัยที่ทำงานผ่านภาพถ่าย ภาพเคลื่อนไหว ศิลปะจัดวาง และกิจกรรมที่สร้างกระบวนการการมีส่วนร่วมกับผู้ชม ผลงานของเขาเป็นที่รู้จักจากความเฉพาะตัว เร้าอารมณ์ และมักชี้ชวนให้ผู้ชมใคร่ครวญและมีอารมณ์ร่วมไปกับผลงาน ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ ธาดายังคงขยับเขตแดนของการทำงานผ่านการสำรวจองค์ประกอบแวดล้อมประจำวัน ก่อนจะสร้างสรรค์สิ่งที่ดูดาษดื่นและเรียบง่ายเหล่านั้น สู่อุปลักษณ์ที่เหนือไปกว่าที่คาดคำนึง

นิทรรศการ The Answer is Blowing in the Wind (คำตอบนั้นอยู่ในสายลม) สะท้อนถึงความเป็นไปได้ในโลกอนาคต ที่แม้อาจดูยากเกินกว่าจะจินตนาการ หากก็เปี่ยมด้วยความหวังและความเป็นไปได้จากการร่วมมือกันต่อสู้ของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่ไม่ยอมจำนนต่ออำนาจผเด็จการทหารพร้อมไปกับสะท้อนข้อเท็จจริงท่ามกลางภาวะซบเซาทางเศรษฐกิจและการเมืองในยุคหลังรัฐประหาร 2557 ของประเทศไทยที่เป็นต้นตอของปัญหาวิกฤตการณ์การเมืองไทย

MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum is excited to announce the upcoming solo exhibition by renowned Thai artist Tada Hengsapkul. The exhibition will be on display from December 22, 2023, to March 3, 2024, with the opening reception scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023, at 6 PM at MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Chiang Mai. Notably, the exhibition was initially showcased at MAIELIE, Khon Kean, in 2022.

Tada is known for his unique blend of photography, video, installation, and interactive elements, creating works that are both thought-provoking and emotional. In this exhibition, Tada continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art with a bold and brave exploration of the world around him. Using recognizable elements of daily life, Tada presents images of the extraordinary and unimaginable.

The exhibition's title, The Answer is Blowing in the Wind, represents Tada's determination to resist the tropes that have become common in contemporary art practice. His works in this exhibition gesture towards aspects of the present that feel like portents of the future, offering a glimpse into a world that is not easy, but one that is full of possibility and hope. The exhibition also highlights the widely lamented economic and political stagnation of the post-2014 coup in Thailand and the recent youth protests movement against the dictatorship.
