YMD Art Space ขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วมรับชมและเป็นเกียรติงานเปิดใน นิทรรศการ Tropical Trauma (ถังแดงแสลงใจ) โดย ศิลปิน วรพันธ์ อินทรวรพัฒน์ ผลงานจากโครงการ Open Call " We Make Space You Make Art " ของ YMD Art space ที่เปิดโอกาสให้แก่ผู้ที่สนใจศิลปะ ศิลปิน , ภันฑารักษ์อิสระ หน่วยงานต่างๆที่สนใจทางศิลปะ ร่วมส่ง Portfolio และ นำเสนอโครงการในการขอใช้พื้นที่เพื่อจัดแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะที่ YMD Art Space

ในวันเสาร์ที่ 31 มีนาคม เริ่มลงทะเบียน19.00 และ เปิดนิทรรศการเวลา 20.00 ที่ YMD Art Space ชั้น สาม อาคาร เดย์ มันธ์ เยียร์ คาเฟ่ (DD/MM/YYYY)

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
วรพันธ์ุ อินทรวรพัฒน์ (สุราษฎร์ธานี) มีความสนใจประวัติศาสตร์ของงานจิตรกรรม ผ่านการตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับเทคนิคของเนื้อสีว่ามีความสัมพันธ์กับเนื้อหาของจิตรกรรมในประวัติศาสตร์และมีความหมายอย่างไร ผ่านการวิเคราะห์ “เนื้อสี” แล้วพบว่ามีเนื้อสีความหมายในตัวมันเอง เป็นวัตถุที่มาจากศาสตร์การเล่นแร่แปรธาตุในช่วงยุคกลางเป็นของต้องห้ามในช่วงเวลานั้น ศิลปินนำภาพวาดประกอบของศาสตร์การเล่นแร่แปรธาตุ ที่มีสัญลักษณ์ซ่อนรหัสทางภาษา มีปริศนาแปรสภาพ กระบวนการทางความหมายของสัญญะอันไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด เพื่อเชื่อมโยงกับแนวคิด หลบหลีกผลกระทบต่อการเมือง ศาสนาที่ไม่สามารถสื่อสารแบบตรงไปตรงมาได้ผสมผสานกับรูปแบบภาพวาดประกอบนิยายราคาถูก นิยายสืบสวนสอบสวน นิยายสยองขวัญ นิยายรักน้ำเน่า นิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้บันทึกประวัติศาสตร์บางอย่าง ที่งานจิตรกรรมไม่สามารถทำได้มาเป็น

Send us your portfolio and present a project for space occupancy in order to be a part of the exhibition at YMD Art Space On Saturday March 31, at 8 pm at YMD Art Space, 3rd Floor, Day/Month/Years Cafe (dd / mm / yyyy)

About Artist
Woraphan Intaraworapad was born in Surat Thani He is keen on history of painting works and love to explore how each painting material reflects the painted content both in terms of history and self-defined portrayal. He analyze and find answer “painting materials” These elements are the objects resulted from chemical processes of medieval alchemy which, was prohibited back in the era.The artists used alchemical painting materials to compose their paintings where they embedded symbolic language codes that contain puzzles with multiple meanings that lead to endless interpretations. These symbolic puzzles were purposely hidden to avoid political or religious harms as freedom of expression was limited. The symbols were embedded in drawings found in cheap novels as well as novels under suspense, thriller, soap opera, and science genres to record some historical events impossible to be done through formal painting.
